Nicklord
Judging by the lineup I think they spent way too much money (or cheapened out and think they'll sell on their own) on Muse and Pink. Friday and saturday are full of well known names but Thursday and Sunday are pretty empty
birchtree29
Wow this is very bad for Rock Werchter standards

Just the lack of mid sized acts Have to disagree there. Seems to be less acts on stages too.
Gossard
Richard Ashcroft for me, I couldn't care less about the other names..... 1

I can safely say I'm pretty happy I decided to trade my usual RW for DTRH this year. I was really hoping for Thom Yorke and Parquet Courts, DTRH has both... frontsidecab
Thursday - D- Friday - A+ Saturday - B Sunday - C- All over the place really, friday is completely stacked though. Thursday is almost awful but I don’t really mind the idea of a shorter first day tbf

DDave
Hard to decide whether to go to Folkwerchter or Popwerchter this year.
Chaarlie
Looks a tad lopsided now theres 2 less acts on every stage Thursday and no slope but comparing days Friday is way beyond every other day by miles can't understand adding Robyn to that day...

Chaarlie
So they 1. Cut a load from the program on Thursday, no obligation to say this but selling tickets for the same price is shady 2. Clearly overpaid for Muse and P!nk shown by the other acts on those days 3. Booked a fairly uninspiring Saturday that only looks bad because of how bad the Thursday and Sunday are. Friday is good though, for me best day of a fest in a few years, think that still might away me to get a ticket.

If they pull stunts like this, they should have informed about it in advance. I'm aware that there aren't any written guarantee anywhere in terms of number of stages and bands, but I don't think it can come as a surprise for them that people are buying tickets based on last years set-up. I would expect to see the festival going in the other direction and expanding, not end up like this. It's almost like they are in financial problems, and I never thought I would hear myself say this, but this might be my last year at RW (I've already bought the tickets). Not mainly beause of the line-up, but the Thursday-stunt which for me shows a lack of respect for your customers and also says that the festival is very unpredictable. IdleWild78
Serious question - anyone know the best way to resell a package? So not just the tickets but lodge and beer tokens too? I can't see anything on the RW website other than TicketSwap and wasnt sure if that was just for the combi ticket? Very disappointed with the line up. I appreciate that many things likely did not go to plan for the organisers, but as others have said we seem to have missed a lot of names that are touring and are at other festivals (and that you'd expect at RW) so it is hard to understand why we are looking at a pretty dismal final line-up. Also agree with the point above re: Thursday. Last year was the year showcasing the 'bigger better Barn' and it doesnt seem right that this year the festival is being downsized. It's actually quite strange that they have decided to release all names today rather than in smaller batches like before, as I highly doubt that this final announcement will help on the ticket sales.. ParanoidTourist
Richard Ashcroft and Zeal & Ardor are good announcements. There are, of course, good band's to see this year but I think this year is not worth the money considering the tickets price in comparison to what you get. Hurricane, for example, have a much more solid line up imo. I will myself head to InMusic festival because I like the early 90s;) Edited March 1, 2019 by ParanoidTourist
