Hey, I just won VIP upgrades to Reading Festival 2019 (yaaaaay). Was wondering is VIP the same as guest tickets or is there any more perks? Anyone been VIP before would like to share their experiences? Such as what the camping/toilets/bar is like? Do you actually get to meet many of the bands just walking around backstage?

We finally know all our 2018 headliners, who does everyone think will perform next year? My early predictions are if there are three headliners: - Green Day - With the band not doing many UK festivals the past few years 2019 could be the year they do, potential new album and could see them do RandL and TRNSMT. - Muse - Feel this is most feasible, like Arctic Monkeys, European dates and festivals with a UK tour, surely Muse will be there. - Gorillaz - Won a BRIT, seems like they would suit the festival, maybe not obvious but the booking they would make if they keep the olde

What are people thinking the lineup for Lovebox 2019 is going to be? Haven't seen a forum for this year and with most festivals lineups already out would be interesting to see peoples predictions on it...

I've just come across this: https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/emily-eavis-reveals-enormous-glastonbury-1223103.amp Essentially, if true, they are hoping to implement a site wide plastic bottle ban. I'm guessing this will apply to ticket buyers as well...

So, with the festival looming I thought it was time to start the CD Swap thread. I spoke to @SwedgeAntilles who ran it last time and I'm going to give it a go this year. To quote last years thread: The idea is that you reply to this thread if you want to take part. Then make a CD mix of confirmed 2017 Glastonbury artists, I'll separate everyone groups of 4, you swap addresses in PM with the rest of your group, then post em out. You then receive 3 analogue, old school, compact disc playlists to listen to in the last couple of weeks running up to the festival! I did it last year and a

Do you think it’s worth getting a locker? Is it worth the money? My mother wants me to get one, it’s the first time I’ve been to a festival. And has anyone got advice on safety tips and how to keep clothes and stuff safe?

Hey guys, So this is my third time going to Glasto and I've managed to convince my boyfriend to come along with me, on the promise of good food and good music. Unfortunately, his tastes are a bit heavier than mine and whilst I'm pretty happy with the lineup so far he's not overly thrilled. I've tried to give him the old 'It's about more than the music' line, but I don't think he'll understand that until we get there. I really want him to be as hyped as I am, so if anyone knows of any confirmed or strongly rumoured acts that are on the heavier side of rock that I can use to get him

Hi all, We're putting on a brand new festival this year in the beautiful grounds of Shaken Oak Farm in Oxfordshire. Tickets are only £52 including booking fees, and that gets you 3 nights of camping, 2 days of music across 2 stages and free parking. Be great to see some of you there! We're all long-time festival goers and our aim is to create the kind of event we all love to go to. There's going to be a big emphasis on community, friendliness and fun, and there are some wonderful little nooks and crannies on-site for you to get lost in. Line-up: The Great Malarkey // Eat Th

Does anyone know of any places you will be able to wash and dry hair with a hair dryer? Either pay to do it yourself or get it done by someone, not too fussed! Zooloos powder room passes are sold out. I know it’s not in the true spirit of Glasto and I can deal with the no showers but clean hair makes everything better ?

Hi all, So managed to get coach packages for Glastonbury 2019 (wooooo!!) but I’ve never got one before, all the other times I’ve been I’ve got a general sale ticket and coach later. Can you pick what time you get the coach in a coach package? If not is there a way around it - it’s a Wednesday one but want to be at the site as early as possible in the morning!!
