  1. Any predictions so far for the 2019 headliners?
  2. We finally know all our 2018 headliners, who does everyone think will perform next year? My early predictions are if there are three headliners: - Green Day - With the band not doing many UK festivals the past few years 2019 could be the year they do, potential new album and could see them do RandL and TRNSMT. - Muse - Feel this is most feasible, like Arctic Monkeys, European dates and festivals with a UK tour, surely Muse will be there. - Gorillaz - Won a BRIT, seems like they would suit the festival, maybe not obvious but the booking they would make if they keep the older act demographic. Not many UK festivals this year, feel they could headline next year. If they stick with five the other two could be: - Royal Blood - Up and coming band, no festivals planned in the UK this year, feel they will definitely do RandL next year with TRNSMT potentially. - Noel Gallagher ATHFB - Like Liam this year, I feel he could do a day and be that weaker headliner compared to the rest with a strong undercard. Feels like the type of booking. One that could headline: - Queens of the Stone Age - Don't know if they will do anything next year but not doing a main festival could lead them to headline TRNSMT, would be good but its doubtful. Who does everyone think could headline next year? Thanks, RTDB
  3. Hey, I just won VIP upgrades to Reading Festival 2019 (yaaaaay). Was wondering is VIP the same as guest tickets or is there any more perks? Anyone been VIP before would like to share their experiences? Such as what the camping/toilets/bar is like? Do you actually get to meet many of the bands just walking around backstage?
  4. What are people thinking the lineup for Lovebox 2019 is going to be? Haven't seen a forum for this year and with most festivals lineups already out would be interesting to see peoples predictions on it...
  5. Wassup forums, me and a load of mates, having missed out on 2018, are thinking of going to the 2019 festival. Wondering who all of you beautiful people think headliners/ other significant bands/acts/whatever will be. many thanks, appreciate any responses!
  6. I've just come across this: https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/emily-eavis-reveals-enormous-glastonbury-1223103.amp Essentially, if true, they are hoping to implement a site wide plastic bottle ban. I'm guessing this will apply to ticket buyers as well...
  7. A few questions to anyone who has been to Wilderness Festival in the past Are their showers with glamping accomidation? Is there a limit on alcohol because the rules seem vauge on things such as spirits, i just need to know if they need to be hidden/ are we searched? 9. So, with the festival looming I thought it was time to start the CD Swap thread. I spoke to @SwedgeAntilles who ran it last time and I'm going to give it a go this year. To quote last years thread: The idea is that you reply to this thread if you want to take part. Then make a CD mix of confirmed 2017 Glastonbury artists, I'll separate everyone groups of 4, you swap addresses in PM with the rest of your group, then post em out. You then receive 3 analogue, old school, compact disc playlists to listen to in the last couple of weeks running up to the festival! I did it last year and a great group, and it gave me some great mixes to listen to on the drive down. If you want to take part comment on the thread, I'll split the group next weekend to give people time to register their interest. Once we were split last year, my group used WhatsApp or DMs to sort out postage etc. This was last year's thread for this interested:
  10. Any ideas for headliners/acts in general for next year? My guesses are Gorillaz and/or Catfish Tame Impala The Streets Stormzy or BBK Brockhampton

    Locker

Do you think it’s worth getting a locker? Is it worth the money? My mother wants me to get one, it’s the first time I’ve been to a festival. And has anyone got advice on safety tips and how to keep clothes and stuff safe?
  14. Hey guys, So this is my third time going to Glasto and I've managed to convince my boyfriend to come along with me, on the promise of good food and good music. Unfortunately, his tastes are a bit heavier than mine and whilst I'm pretty happy with the lineup so far he's not overly thrilled. I've tried to give him the old 'It's about more than the music' line, but I don't think he'll understand that until we get there. I really want him to be as hyped as I am, so if anyone knows of any confirmed or strongly rumoured acts that are on the heavier side of rock that I can use to get him excited I'd be really grateful! Also, if anyone has experience going as a rock fan in the past and you know the best places to hang out to see acts you like I'd love the tips.
  15. Hi Is anyone selling or knows of where I can get hold of a campervan ticket for Download 2019? Or if anyone knows of any decent campsites nearby? Many thanks in advance

  17. Hi all, We're putting on a brand new festival this year in the beautiful grounds of Shaken Oak Farm in Oxfordshire. Tickets are only £52 including booking fees, and that gets you 3 nights of camping, 2 days of music across 2 stages and free parking. Be great to see some of you there! We're all long-time festival goers and our aim is to create the kind of event we all love to go to. There's going to be a big emphasis on community, friendliness and fun, and there are some wonderful little nooks and crannies on-site for you to get lost in. Line-up: The Great Malarkey // Eat The Evidence // Lorraine // Prognosis // Vicky O’Neon // Duck // Emily J Electric // Ka Leng // Medicine Man // DJ Ginge // Oh, The Guilt // Parastatic // Limpet Space Race // DJ Epic // Twist Helix // Austel // Jeannie Skelly // Rose Segal // Yvonne McDonnell // Gobstopa // Living Body // Lilly Cohen // Cloud and Owl // Belle Seraphin // Funky Sensation You can find out more information on our website: http://intotheupsidedown.com/ Tickets are pretty limited for this first event so don't leave it too late to buy: http://intotheupsidedown.com/product/upsidedown-festival-ticket/ If anyone's got any questions, please shout!

  19. Does anyone know of any places you will be able to wash and dry hair with a hair dryer? Either pay to do it yourself or get it done by someone, not too fussed! Zooloos powder room passes are sold out. I know it’s not in the true spirit of Glasto and I can deal with the no showers but clean hair makes everything better 😂
