All Points East Festival 2019

I don't want to hype people up unnecessarily, but I also had a look into who All Points East follows on Twitter... They've followed Run Music today and they're Run The Jewels' PR or management company. AND RTJ follow the festival on Twitter too. This must be a recent thing, because it came up as the last account they follow......... Could they possibly play the festival or am I grasping at straws here?

EDIT: My bad, APE is one of their followers, it just came up first because I follow them I guess. Still, a girl can dream

I do reckon RTJ are likely to play, they seem to play a big slot at a London festival p much every summer and this one would make the most sense for them. They'd make a great sub for it.

Also, the Friday banged last year but there weren't any ground breaking bookings there either other than YYY.

These responses on twitter refers to the 2nd weekend having multi day pricing, so more than certain we’re looking at 2 fest weekends. And we get £5 off if you book more than 1 day....

Last year the multi-day tickets were largely a scam, basically you just saved a few pennies on booking fees etc, no actual price reduction on the tickets. So it would be handy if they did actually offer discounts this time around. I will probably be just waiting until nearer the day to pick up tickets, reckon I could have picked up tickets to the days I went for about half price if I had waited until the week beforehand.

I think it was only the Nick Cave day that sold out beforehand, so you're probably right. I ended up selling a spare National ticket at a discount.

Vampire Weekend are doing Mad Cool in July. They seem to be the most predicted headliner on here but I wonder if they might do some of the early American festivals like Boston Calling and Governors Ball instead?

New Order rumoured to be playing Primavera, could put them into the frame for this? 

Think we'll get Bon Iver announced next Tuesday.

Probably not going to happen but would still love David Byrne to play this.

Yeah I think New Order could be a good shout. Playing Ally Pally tonight so would put them in the frame to be announced next week. Think I'd rather it be their own day though (if they're still doing that).
