I don’t think that’s true for known acts. I’m pretty sure they are put under lock and key if it’s a larger artist using the tools of Bandsintown.

Yeah I think you have to get yourself verified as either the artist or the artist's management now.

I've heard a rumour they're playing, although nothing I'd put a lot of confidence in as its secondhand info. 

Seems pretty likely they'll play an outdoor show over here next year as they haven't done one in six years. You'd imagine it would be in London, but that could be pretty much anything.

Or on the venue/event side. I imagine a bunch of different artists getting listed at the same event at the same time would come under that.

Missing the UK arenas due to an ear blockage meant I'm game for David Byrne if he does APE, but if its true that those gigs weren't that well attended, I'm not sure if it'll be him.

News to no-one, next announcement is 9am Tuesday, they're advertising it as round 2 so could be the first act from weekend 2.

What are set times for the different stages like? Do the stages have alternating acts or are they usually clashing? Would be pretty pissed off if the Chems were on at the same time as Hot Chip..

Gotta be the Bonny Vere day with the stuff that's been coming out, doesn't it? Can probably take a decent stab at what the announcement's gonna look like based off of that -

Bon Iver / Mac Demarco / First Aid Kit / John Grant / Snail Mail / Julien Baker / KOKOKO!

That's 1 act less than we got in the first announcement - you can add SOPHIE too if you like, I'm confident she'll play at some point over the weekend but the robust discourse in this thread has shaken my confidence in her fitting into this day. I'd like to think there's room for a nice surprise at the top end of the lineup - Mac looks like a West Stage headliner to me and I'm not sure First Aid Kit or John Grant quite cut it as a sub?

Couldn’t see them not headlining this. I think they did sell out standing at least (at v high prices) but most of the acts who headline this don’t even play arenas.

On a poster mock up I did a month or two back I had MBV as special guests, with King Gizz, Parquet Courts, Dinosaur Jr., Wire, Alice Glass and Iceage on the poster as well. I think that would be decent.

Could happily indulge in King Gizz, and my love of Dinosaur Jr is well documented, Alice Glass would be p groovy also. 

Orielles, Car Seat Headrest, Ought, Preoccupations, Speedy Ortiz could all fit nicely into that vibe also.
