This is Parklife isn't is with just a different variation of shite lol. Groove Armada Dj set however would be good.

There's not a whole lot to my taste, but it's more relevant than Parklife given that the organisers also programme Silver Hayes.

The Last Dinner Party just announced a pretty big UK tour for the autumn.  Seem to be everywhere at the moment - quite enjoyed their set opening Woodsies last year, but not sure they have the tunes to back up all this hype.

I might have been interested but I hate the Victoria Warehouse.

I quite like them, but the 2nd through 4th singles are all noticeably weaker than Nothing Matters.

Absolutely - Nothing Matters is clearly their standout song.

I did think they were really good live though, and they seem to have the entire UK music media behind them!

    • Yeah it's been over 20 years and I still don't get the logic of how a manager who Blackburn were about to sack was the solution. I bet some in the Newcastle board at the time felt Robson was soft on our squad but the fact that by the end of that season we had a squad fighting one another on the pitch and players falling out with the manager and one another was a bit of a disaster. Even if the weird irony is that he got to an FA Cup semi and the UEFA Cup quarters made him on one of the closest to a trophy.    Pardew having a great single season and immediately getting an 8 year contract is just hilarious in retrospect. It's amusing in some respects that Bruce tried hard to make a local boy come home angle work and yet Benitez was just a better fit with getting the fans on side. If Bruce was to have joined us, he arguably could've been a better fit in '04 - Birmingham to that point had done pretty well, he'd yet to get relegated or manage Sunderland and he seemed like a man on the way up. That's obviously different to now given his last job was a swift failure with Blackpool in League 1.
    • Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if they're advised not to do the fire/fireworks this year, I live in Crickhowell and we've had maybe 10 minutes of rain in total in the past couple of months, there've been a couple of big fires in the area (one peat fire above Blaenavon will be burning underground for quite some time yet) and all eyes will be on GM. Fingers crossed we get a good soaking next week 😁
    • Around £400 this time, possibly slightly over.   Think what you've said sounds about right
    • Glastonbury 2025 general admission tickets cost £378.50 (including 5 booking fee ) plus £10.25 postage . what are the thoughts on next years price ? ...... im going for £395 plus postage so they can say its still under £400 ..... but I think the deposit will be £100 up from £75
    • 100% doing Knebworth, said it for a while.   Celtic, Etihad, Knebworth been signed & sealed for a number of months (I had it confirmed categorically in May). Just a case of when the dates fall, and how many.   Can't remember if I mentioned at the time, though probably not a major secret given that they were seen leaving Abbey Road on the same day - Liam/Squire album two in 2028.    Dunno where that leaves Oasis beyond 2027, though Andy is active with Ride in early 2027, so maybe it will just run alongside Oasis like that, if they carry on.
