Who sings for them now, and is the band significantly changed do we know?

They take it turns, some songs are sung by some members, other members for different ones. All new songs.

Hope the new album is out by then.

Massively intrigued by the 3 London gigs on Thursday/Friday this week.

Some extremely cryptic messaging around what they'll be and fevered discussion! I don't think it's been discussed on here yet (apologies if I've missed it) but they've sent different emails to the attendees for each, introducing different plays by a character they've created, and a dress code. Nobody seems sure what's a joke at what isn't, which I guess is the point!

Warwick is £142.50 in Gold Circle, £74.50 GA standing. Wowzers!!

Erk. That's a no then. 2022 really is the death of the upper-end gig for me, rather put a few gigs' worth of money in a pot and do an entire other festival.

Indeed. They could probably justify the £74.50 with for a full No Doubt show with a half-decent support bill. That Gold Circle price would have bought a 4-day ticket at Primavera Sound Porto.

Got Golden Circle for Romsey and didn't even flinch at the price tbh. I've been waiting for nearly 16 years for this gig, lol. She will do No Doubt songs and Stephen and Gabrial will probably be there so... side No Doubt members?

Wtf was up with Ticketmaster pre-sale though? Like what was the criteria for that? I'm signed up to her newsletter, have bought merch, signed up as her as one of my alerts/favourites, bought loads of tickets from them. What else could I have done? Thank goodness for AEG & AXS!

BLUR doing festivals all over the place now!

Surely Glasto on their agenda?

Which festivals?  I think the repeated reply has been that they want to do new things (e.g. not glastonbury) and that while they may do festivals they aren't in the uk (e.g. not glastonbury)

They're playing a 15k capacity fest in Belgium which is kinda wild https://www.lokersefeesten.be/en/

That is insane.  It's Gwen Stefani FFS.  C-List artist and B-List celebrity, at best.  World's gone absolutely fucking mad.

At this rate we may actually see an Oasis reunion at some point.  It'll be £500 a ticket and sell out multiple times.

Given Peter Kay is now doing 20 sold out Manchester dates running into 2024, I dread to think of what an Oasis reunion would look like. Might as well just give them a residency at Etihad.

So Elton confirmed for Sunday and Arctic Monkeys strongly rumoured for Friday. It also seems Peter Kay pretty much a guarantee for Saturday. I've never known all 3 headliners 99% confirmed by Christmas.

Presume this is a continuation of the crap joke going round this forum.

    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
    • A lot of people have said this online but does the Marvel world need new cities to play with? New York seems to be a target of all the villains to the point where you wonder why anyone in that world still lives there. Much as you can accuse me of overthinking it I guess haha.    I do agree that The Void is a compellingly different villain in many respects given the superpower is trapping people in their most traumatic memories. Shame in some respects the film came out in the post-Endgame funk Marvel seems stuck in and a lot of people missed out on it.    Speaking of, I rewatched Infinity War the other day. First time I think I've seen it since seeing it in the cinema on its opening day. Holds up pretty well imo - I have issues sometimes with ensemble casts and jumping between 4/5 storylines but it felt this one got the balance right and also properly explored Thanos. So it was good.
    • I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his. Queens Gambit or Black Mirror, it was not.    But clearly it's popular tripe in some respect if Netflix is going yes to everything he has to offer and are apparently about to start trying his most popular individual character, as seen below:   https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jul/30/how-harlan-coben-became-the-king-of-potboiler-tv   Plus hey. Sometimes people get a kick from watching something and deriding it as crap. Don't let this internet rando stop you haha
