Our appalling media would just be going on about how she's 'too old' anyway. I remember that being the overriding theme when she stacked it at the Brits a few years back.

Though mind she lives in Lisbon now. The G is the more local of the two.  And she's been dealing with the British media all her life. I cant imagine that would be a consideration.

~£35 after fees for standing tickets at the Apollo for Interpol which is fair enough. Dunno what the fuck is going on with the London prices, was worried this was gonna be crazy too. All over that.

Very rarely does she mime. I think that was proven at the Brits when she went flying off in that cape & her voice stopped.

She is the biggest booking they could make & if she delivered the right set she could knock it out of the park 100%. Of course, it could also be a car crash of edm remixes & 60 year old tits.

Big tour from the people's champion. £10 for Nottingham, Manchester and Brighton while £12.50 for London which is an absolute bargain.

Probably because around the turn of the millennium it was way more of an  NME-approved Lammofest.  I'm about the last person to put on The Bodyguard OST, but if she was offering to play at a price that was right then she'd have been a better booking than Reef.

WHP x MIF could be interesting? Not sure if anyone can hazard a guess at the kinda stuff they might put on. New Order and Arcade Fire gigs were both part of MIF last year if I remember correctly, so it'll be interesting to see what happens with this. Hopefully it'll be stuff more up my street than yr typical WHP nights. Something along the lines of the LCD gigs again would be great.
