Sorry if there's another thread on these, but can't find it!

Thought they absolutely smashed it, one of my favourite sets of the weekend. First few songs were a bit OTT bass-wise, but after that sublime. They way they built it up to RaveCentral at the end was genius. You could see how much it meant to them all.

Just watching it back now and I forgot Jamie dropped a bit of "Belfast" by Orbital before "On Hold".

So so good, they did the build up to the rave thing when i saw them on the tour and it kicked off. However last Friday it went absolutely mental for Loud places and On Hold. Smiling just thinking about it.

Was expecting them to be s bit of a dud in the daylight but they nailed it, one of my sets of the weekend. Still cant help but feel it would've been better as a headline set in the dark though.

I was only there to get a good spot to Radiohead and didn't think I knew that much of their stuff, but I really enjoyed it and knew a lot more than I thought! They were really good.

They nailed it.  I was a bit worried about them in that spot as the Pyramid crowds can be terrible for just hanging around for acts perceived to be cool and then talking all the way through them.  Not the case at all though, most of the crowd where I was were really into it.  They definitely showed they have what it takes to headline festivals next time around.

Friday's 12 hours spent at the Pyramid was just perfect for me....The XX absolutely nailed it; On Hold was mental!

I thought it would be a bit boring but boy was I wrong...one of the highlights of the festival for me, our group loved it. XX into Radiohead was stuff of dreams.

With Kate Tempest beforehand, I think that might have been the best run of acts I've ever witnessed in 13 festivals!  Surely a future headliner, whenever their album schedule next aligns?  Especially if the next album is as good as the current one.

Yeah they absolutely nailed it. So glad I didn't sack it off for the TBA. It was a really epic back to back with Radiohead and the best 3-4 hours I've had at Glastonbury.

Been saying they should headline for a while now but the thought of it being a bit further down the line once they are more confident playing bigger shows is really exciting. Imagine a 2+ hour set where the first hour and 15 is XX stuff, it builds up to a Jamie XX 20-30 minute rave then back to XX euphoric tracks at the end. They get the setlist right on that occasion and it will go down as historic.... *goosebumps thinking about it and goes off to compile what that list may look like if done today...*

Would absolutely love the xx to headline glasto one day. Saw them on their own tour and at glasto this year and they were fantastic both times! Loud places was a glasto moment for me this year

Have to echo what's been said above. I was really looking forward to seeing them for the 1st time and they certainly didn't disappoint! I absolutely loved it and will probably watch it back tonight with a few beers

I remember (sadly) watching their other stage headline spot on TV and the light show was amazing, imagine that on the Pyramid? The stuff of dreams. Unfortunately if their next album takes as long you're probably looking at 2021, maybe 2020 but that would look unlikely being the 50th anniversary but you never know.

Waited on the fringes of the XX crowd to get my Radiohead spot. 

For me they are the sound of paint drying unfortunately.

I think they could prove divisive in some ways - if you're not into their albums it probably wouldn't be much fun at all. That said if their next album is as upbeat/dancey as this last one they could pull it off.

Loved every second. The minute it finished I wanted to watch it all over again. One of the best festival performances I've ever seen. Even paid £30(!!) for an xx tshirt afterwards whilst riding on the high

Bloody brilliant. Was worried they'd get lost on the Pyramid but even the quieter tracks fared well, Loud Places, On Hold and Angels were all highlights.
