Their first ever set was on the John peel stage after all. Mates of the festival

They're in Denmark on the Thursday and Greece on the Saturday.

I can see them doing a secret set, I'm seeing them in Hyde park in July but I'd definitely go along if they did something at glasto

I'm currently on holiday in Greece and hope to be at Glastonbury too. These aeroplanes are wonderful things. It could  just happen.

Yep. I found it baffling that they weren't considered before and now it seems very likely. People saying they aren't friends of the festival. They've played 3 times including headlining, politely declined to headline one year - sure they are close enough to have a hand shake agreement.

The 'exclusive' tag for BST also means there is a good reason for them not to have been announced, unlike some of the other suggestions.

Gordon Smart has got a decent track record of revealing glastonbury acts too (Metallica comes to mind). I'm thinking why would he have even mentioned it if their wasn't anything in it? It's not a rumour I had even heard or thought of.

I found that weird as well - doubt someone like Brandon Flowers would know the exact date of a festival they weren't playing. The fact that he knew they would have to leg it from Athens to get there is interesting...

I knew you'd pop up in this thread, The Killers is one of my favourite 'random acts Russy enjoyed at Glastonbury despite it being out of step with everything else he likes' stories

I'm gonna be at JP on Sunday anyway and whoever turns up all the rumours have been decent ones.

Radio X as shit as it is are really pushing this Killers rumour though even though it was never a rumour to begin with before that interview
