I already had a Mad Cool ticket for the day they're playing and bought Glasgow tickets yesterday. 

Still really want to go and see Josh and the lads on the farm, but I know my entire crew will be going to Elton.

I wonder… Elton is going to be unique but I know I’m going to feel like I did when I missed LCD Soundsystem to watch Coldplay (due to literally being stuck in the mud rather than an active choice, but ended up being one of my highlights)

I'm thinking Queens over Elton now. Listened to the new album a few times and really like it and since I will have the kids I know Elton is going to be rammed so will be easier at the Queens. Think Mr Grohl will hang around to make an appearance?

Really like the new album as well, love how the sound is going back to Era Vulgaris.

But I'm still going for Elton. I'm really happy that they have announced a European tour for November, that takes away a lot of my FOMO.

I've seen QOTSA 7 times, so missing this one when I have a ticket for November doesnt feel bad.

If Im in an awful spot or I'm not feeling EJ, I will go to the other stage, but I am at peace with the clash now

No amount of mud would have kept me at Coldplay. It was a mega struggle trying to leave after Beck. Everyone seemed to be heading to the Pyramid.

It was some mission, but we left the Pit & got to Cyndi Lauper.

The setlists from the three Euro festival this weekend have settled any lingering doubts about where I’ll be spending Sunday night. 

Would love it if they played ‘God is in the Radio’. ‘Misfit Love’ is a massively underrated opener too.

Digging the new album. ‘Time & Place’ my current favourite.

This was chosen by fans in a poll, I doubt a set list this good will happen again which is why I'm leaning more towards Elton

Couldn't care less about Elton anymore, at first I was a bit torn but seeing the recent pro shots and how good they sound plus the new album. 

I will be at QOTSA loving every moment.

But you can see QOTSA a LOT if you want. They literally just announced new dates for this fall.

I can't see Qotsa at Glastonbury though? Tnsts the point. My favourite band at my favourite place on earth.

Also - you can't see Queens 'a lot' - they've not toured in the UK in 5 years. Yeah they're doing some arena gigs later in the year but it's not the same - and it could be another years or more before they play again.

I’ve never really understood missing out on one of your favourite acts playing at Glastonbury, just to ‘be there’ for another act you don’t really have an interest in. 
Queens finishing the festival on Sunday will be epic and if I was going I wouldn’t miss it for the world, despite being keen to see how Elton goes down.

Decent crack last night, if missing a few of what you'd assume are the big hitters. Bizarrely slow to start - the opening two felt a bit sluggish and off - but Smooth Sailing got it into top gear and it very rarely dropped below that throughout. Negative Space sounds huge live, and I Appear Missing was excellent.
