I can't believe the number of people on FB saying they forgot! !!! How does this even happen given how hard it is to get tickets

I paid mine Thursday afternoon due to needing paying and just checked my bank account to make sure. I think tbh though anything paid until Thursday night would be good, Friday late afternoon/evening and you are chancing it as not every bank processes so quick.....luckily Halifax does.

I don't understand why people leave it till Friday. Every year some of my mates say got a week yet.... Leave it till Friday and your card or internet has a problem and you're knackered.

They're probably the same people, who when you're on a coach and it stops at a service station, and the driver says to everyone they need to be back in 15mins, return 10mins late- there's always 2 of them on every coach! I don't know how they make it through life!

The mind boggles. Annoyed me last year when I missed out in October. People forgetting then begging see to help them out. Glad they have a stance on it.

i know people have issues and that, but man, they give you a week to pay and plenty of notice and you get told in oct when you get your tickets when it needs to be paid.

One thing is with these goons, atleast there are more tickets back in the pot now for people (mainly on here) who need them

Yeah they get no sympathy for me as obviously not bothered about going, so more in the pot for people who really want them

I woke up hungover, saw this thread and am gripped by a crippling fear that the payment for my order might have been cancelled by my credit card company due to the unusual size of the payment (£600+).

Would seetickets and my bank contact me to tell me?

I dare not log onto my internet banking because I'm not mentally ready to see how much I spent last night..

I've had my bank contact me before by phone when I tried to put something 'unusual' through as a transaction. In that instance it was something really small value I was buying in a service station, which somehow triggered their fraud detection system. If you've got enough credit on the card and they haven't contacted you by now then it should be fine.

Credit card?

You would have had notification from them (the bank) if they'd withheld payment....I get a text when Barclays do it. Check the see tickets  order tracker....

In previous years didn't they give people an opportunity to pay where that happened?

Probably that too.

Yeah. Epic douchebaggery. Came back to the tent Friday late afternoon to find a camp of totally fucking drunk, utterly WILD people. Like, scary mental drunk wild. And my expensive waterproof lightweight running top on the fire. I just fucked off on my own and went solo for the weekend.

Jesus! You should be friends with my friends instead - we'd never do that!

I also wished I hadn't checked ths thread not. I'm sure I've checked online to see the payment had gone out...but what if I was dreaming? Or Barclays idea of a funny joke!

This is exactly why I spent most of my first break at work last saturday just after the window opened trying to get the shitty wifi to connect on my phone so I could sort my ticket out on the first day even though I couldnt really afford it that week and had to put a couple of bills on the backburner....just wanted it sorted, no stress, no worry about websites not working or transactions not going through.

Mind you didnt stop me seeing this thread last night and checking my see booking just to confirm to myself it had worked...lol

That's my fear for the resale!

I think as long as the transaction says its gone through at the time of submission, you should be fine as even if the bank then blocks it, seetickets should contact you (or you can contact seetickets) and you can sort it out then- at least I seem to remember that happening to a few posters over the years.

I worry about it more in the resale when you have to pay the full amount outright, because if the transaction is declined at the time, then you're probably screwed unless you can get another card. My bank seems to love randomly blocking my transactions- theres no rhyme nor reason to it.

If the blocking of payment has not been sorted by the deadline it won't be successful, Emily already Tweeted someone back to say the deadline wasn't met so it's too late!

Yeah there was a post somewhere that the deadline wasn't met by someone, I think russy will be okay but if it was more £700-800 he'd be in shit!

Did you say you are solo thing year in the end?

I thought that was See Tickets that said that.

No, I'm arriving Thursday morning with the missus. On previous occasions arriving late we've only been parked in the East car Parks a 1 minute walk from the people in our group's cars who parked up and joined the queue on Tuesday evening.

Jesus effing Christ, the two most recent @glastofacepalm's are headbendingly dumb.

First response to one (from her mate presumably) 'You're a dick'.

Just seen those tweets. How is it even possible to forget given that you get a whole week to pay and prior notice

Least there's more in the resale for everyone who tried desperately to get one
