I thought that was See Tickets that said that.

No, I'm arriving Thursday morning with the missus. On previous occasions arriving late we've only been parked in the East car Parks a 1 minute walk from the people in our group's cars who parked up and joined the queue on Tuesday evening.

You're right. Emily hasn't tweeted anything since the poster was released, other than retweeting the pale copy of @Brave Sir Robin's playlist.

This is true but still stands as the ticket agent.

Just seen those tweets. How is it even possible to forget given that you get a whole week to pay and prior notice

Least there's more in the resale for everyone who tried desperately to get one

'I'm such a Glasto giver'....wtf does that even mean? Her whole Twitter account reads like she's a complete 'mare

I am not on twitter or Facebook but I'm not to old to read my email and to set a reminder on my phone.  I really can't understand how anyone could forget . Plus payment took me about a min to complete

Seeing at Glastonbury isn't the be all and end all of most people's lives I can understand people forgetting, people miss the email, or it goes into their spam folder and they just forget.

I paid first thing Saturday just in case I forgot once I was back at work during the week.

Was reading through her tweets and it wouldn't surprise me if she was holiday during balance week. She was sending a load of tweets to airlines about flights the week or two before deadline week.

I want to read her tweet now lol what's her name?

On FB someone complaining they never recieved their reminder email and any tips what to do - told here she has lost her ticket and needs to try again in resale, harsh I know but it told you on the deposit email back in bloody October when you need to pay - put it in whatever calendar you use, totally no excuse unless major situation has happened (and even then...)

PAYING YOUR TICKET BALANCE

You will have a week commencing 1st April 2017 to pay the remaining balance of £188 per person plus booking and transaction fees.

If you have not paid your balance by 7th April 2017, or you decide to cancel your deposit, you will be charged an administration fee of £20.00 per ticket and refunded £30.00 per ticket. You will be sent a reminder email when the deadline is approaching. However, ultimately you are responsible for paying your ticket balance.

Help.... A really fucking stupid question here

One of the group in going with has somehow forgotten to pay the balance on his ticket, I'm presuming it's the case that he's fucked it and he's going to need to try in the resale?

If you weren't that bothered by it then why spend that much time pressing F5 on a computer screen?

Yes, as the resale is based on a full priced ticket at the time and he'll lose an extra £20 as well from the deposit. He'll also I imagine need to cancel it sharpish to make sure his reg number is clear for the resale.

Probably one of those that's part of the group, and one of their mates got the tickets for them.

Eh? Where does that come from? Who says I'm not that bothered? Still isn't the be all and end all though, all I'm doing is pointing out that not everyone is as  obscessed with Glastonbury as people on here are and it's actually quite easy to forget to pay off the balance.

I feel like that each time, a couple of people I know hadn't ever been at one point at do the ink any of them have really grasped how much effort it takes.

It might not be the be all and end all but to say it's easy to forget to pay your balance of is complete bullocks, biggest load of tosh you can read on here.

You either wasn't arsed to go in the end or you will easily see on email or social media or you will make an effort to check the website as to when it is and if you don't it comes down to you can't be arsed/and wasn't arsed to go. Even if you can't afford it you still don't forget over a 7 day period.

He won't need to cancel anything. Not paying the balance counts as cancellation doesn't it?

presumably you have never forgotten to do anything in your life? People forget things, it happens, even if you can't see that.

I don't see it as a case of being obsessed.  It's the same as booking Any trip or a holiday you get reminders for balances and it's up to you if you want to pay up or lose out . Whether u set a reminder on ur phone write it on a calendar on ur hand whatever it's ridiculous to say that it's easy to forget.

I don't think Gazza is aiming that at you personally, but at the person who forgot to pay.

Taking the obsessive-ness of those who post on here out of the equation though, I still find it hard for people to just 'forget'. Maybe the rest of society have much bigger social calendars than I do, but Glastonbury is the equivalent of a week's holiday abroad, and would take a quarter out of the standard holiday allowance. It would seem silly to me to lay down a deposit on a trip to Mallorca or somewhere for instance, book the time off work then forget to pay it off. I'm guilty of having the odd gig here and there where I only remember it's happening a day or two before, but a whole week festival? Especially when these people posting on social media are obviously actively engaging in social media so would have seen all the reminders and posts about the lineup?

Whilst Glastonbury won't mean as much to everyone as it does to those who post here, to forget it's existence entirely does indicate they're not overly fussed in the first place.

I wrote a reminder on my hand, had my first shower since T-Day last weekend in celebration of paying off the balance.

I truly do try and live the ethos of the festival in everyday life.

Although to be fair you're not normally prevented from paying your Mallorca balance until a week before the deadline.  I can easily see how people can forget.
