Fuck that for a game of soldiers. If they're too stupid it's their own fault!

Almost the same message I sent them. With a flouncy 'UN-BELIEVABLE' at the end.

This is the sort of complacency bred by me sorting everything out every fucking year. Not doing it again.

Sure I've heard you say this before.

True. After last year's 'Come back to the tent to find all your beer for weekend drunk and one of your tops on the fire youcanallgofuckyourselves' moment, I said never again. But caved due to the post-fest apologies.

I thought you'd also said it post T day one year due to them all being disorganised.

(They burned your clothes. WTF????)

Probably that too.

Yeah. Epic douchebaggery. Came back to the tent Friday late afternoon to find a camp of totally fucking drunk, utterly WILD people. Like, scary mental drunk wild. And my expensive waterproof lightweight running top on the fire. I just fucked off on my own and went solo for the weekend.

You need new friends. These are not the actions of good people.

Yeah, wtf. I don't want those kind of people at Glastonbury (no offense).

I know a guy who pisses in cups and throws them thinking it is cool. I don't associate with him and have told him he's a massive dick endless amounts of times.

Ditto this.

Did they pay you back for the beer and top?

They were incredibly contrite after the fest. I still can't get my head round it. I've known (all, but one - tellingly) for years. They just seemed have whipped themselves up into a phenomenal drunken frenzy. Very odd. And yeah, they paid me back for everything.

Personally I think they'd all taken something, but won't admit it...and where I and a couple of them work we can get randomly tested. And I'm one of them's boss.

I've taken a lot of drugs. And never once have any of them made me want to burn my friends clothes.

I know all about this man, people lightly suggest something and if I don't sort it they don't!, then it's never realised how much planning somethings take with breaks away etc. Too much of the let us know what you have and we'll pass you the money. I'll disagree with everything they suggest and that I got an example of if they booked a flight to Paris for this price for example I'd be like no you can do cheaper.....stupid example.

Fuck that man!, I wouldn't have spoke to then again after returning home afterwards. I'd have paid up if I was you, accepted the car parking charges yourself and let them deal with it!

There would have been no apologetic messages from me pal, and I'm one that usually succumbs to the guilt but not for that.

What the actual fuck.  And you still helped them with tickets to this years festival.  Never mind beer and a new top you need some sort of award.

I've been with a lot of different friends at Glastonbury over the years, in various states of unraveled-ness and I've never come across that level of knobbery.

I think you'd have been within your rights to drop em a note on Saturday morning along the lines of "I hope you remembered to pay the balance that was due yesterday?"

Regardless of paying you back it's not the actions of people you want to spend time with.

I think I'm going solo this year as me and another that paid deposit don't really see eye to eye etc and as much as £45 and £7.50 was a pain in the shit!....I actually somehow feel that I'll get on better without the comments that randomly turn into stupid arguments and getting angry etc.

Although you did once hide my Celtic slippers.

Hardly comparable I accept but it's a slippery slope.

Fuck off with your reasonableness, gnomicide. This is the internet. No room for empathy and diplomacy here.

Ok. Fair dos. I want to judge people off what they did once when they were pissed! Dump 'em Wofster!

To be fair, @Woffyhas known most of these people a long time. I'm sure he's able to judge if he should be able to remain friends with them without being told to dump them by a load of people off the internet.

No offence, like.

Probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever read.

They are quite clearly complete, total and utter c**ts who deserve to have the soles of their feet removed with a rusty tin-opener.

    • Very probable. I was a bit surprised by the crowd I saw in the video they drew, and I say that as a big feeder fan. I thought they’d draw a really good sized crowd but it looked rows deep. Chuffed for them though. Still think they’re a great band after all these years.  Rumours at they’re doing a Polythene tour next year too.
    • It sounds like Feeder drew a crowd too big for that stage originally. Given the time period they haven’t appeared at Download as well it's a nostalgia thing. Halestorm vs Feeder wasn't the most ideal but leaving after either to get out would have been sweet at least.
    • You cant see everything unfortunately, it would be Halsey there for me 100%, the last 20/25 of Gorillaz. Halsey would be my non negotiable act on that day myself. Oddly Bleech 9:3 would actually give me an option I wouldn't mind between 3:15pm and Halsey. Dogstar would only likely be a 10 minutes thing of I've seen Keanu lol.
    • I think the tent was just right for Feeder, on that day anyway.   If you had a Biffy-esque day again, or someone of that ilk (maybe Pearl Jam for example), whack them on that main stage. 100%.    As it is, I think feeder will be back and probably high up the second stage or main stage next year or 2028.
    • I think we still have 2 acts to announce each day, maybe one more big name to complete the lineup?   Perhaps the big name is Turnstile on Thursday, which isn't sold out yet. And some other names that could be added like Iceage, Band of Horses or Tomora.
