Think that one was resolved fairly quickly, IIRC the Foos/Cheese and Grain incident bulked the page count up significantly,

2015 was when things went really mental.

Ahh yes. Reckon we'll get 500 by Christmas.

If Arctics play 2020 it'll be 3 summer's in a row....there is no chance. If they bring another album out then it turns into 4 years into a row and them kill it like KOL did.

Where are they playing in summer 2019?

20th October?

Yea that’s sounds about right, thanks wonder what the likelyhood of an early announcement is! Usually in the new year but that was extremely early! Wonder if they’re gearing up for something with the activity in front of the pyramid today?

I love the wild speculation on here. Acts both being considered and ruled out just on hearsay. Let's face it even acts that have shows elsewhere on the same weekend can't be completely ruled out.

I think they will probably follow a similar pattern to previous years, a modern pop act/hip hop/urban, a Glastonbury favourite and an act that are fully established but also still current.

With that in mind I think any 3 of,  Sam Smith, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Stormzy, The Cure, Mumford and Sons, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Killers or Paul McCartney.

My guess from those would be Lady Gaga, Mumford and Sons and Paul McCartney.

I'll take the 3 in bold cheers.

Who wouldn't see SFA headlining Pyramid though? Only reason they haven't is because of the mass crowd that would descend on that stage. Mike bricks himself over the prospect of it.

Did you see SFA on the OS in 99 when some fella drove his van into the middle of the crowd, and then lost his shit when said crowd got on top of the van to throw some shapes? Scenes. Up there in favourite GF moments.

Nah mate, before my time. I surfed out when they played hangin' out with howard marks at roundhouse though, amazing time.

Saw them at Glasto in 2015. What a show they put on. They're my number 2 set behind Radiohead in 2017.

Still waiting for more information but someone who claims to have been at a talk in with Emily tonight claims that the headliners will defo not be Madonna or Fleetwood Mac.

If true then that’s Mac, Monkeys and Madge ruled out tonight

Any reason the always rumoured Daft Punk aren’t in the running this time?

Also with a new album is it too soon for Florence to return? As wasn’t she bumped up last time to replace Foos?

Daft Punk, Florence, and Macca would be a dream for me, so i guarentee it wont happen. I agree Florence should get her own headline spot, just released a new album, and is in the running in my mind. I could watch/listen to her all day.
