doesn't bloody stop them, they just play recordings of the new guests sadly

I don't think it would stop them playing anything but if collaborators are in the same field it might lead to tracks being included (and other knocked out as an after effect)

This looks realistic but no Kids with Guns would disappoint me (assuming that they are playing (and that I do find out when and where (and I am in a suitable condition to turn up)))

They have been playing it, but I could see it getting dropped if it is an hour set!

@eFestivals what would it take to get you to send me a sneaky PM telling me when/where they are playing? They are my band of 2017. I'd miss pretty much anything to make sure I was there!

I'm not sure he knows where they're playing - I believe the info was just that they're gonna be there, not where they'll be.

Thought he said he didn't want to say when/where to avoid problems

the whisper i've had has come from someone with a small history of telling me only perfect info.

So my presumption is that it's 100% accurate, tho of course I can't guarantee it.

Uh ohhhhh!! As if I'm not excited enough. Secret set or pre-announced?

It seemed to me that all the specific DemonDayz t shirts went very early. I wondered past at about 4.15 just before De La Soul and they all had 'sold out' stickers on them

I'm sure everyone and their dog already knew this, but I just found out that the falsetto vocals in Feel Good Inc, are actually Damon singing "feel good".

Don't believe me?  Listen to this, starting a few seconds from the end.

What did you think he was singing Stu? Is it hard to decipher?

That new album really grew on me by the way, I’ll be back onto it in a few weeks once I’ve finished with the National’s.

I didn't think he was singing anything in particular, some kind of funky nonsense, like "hee-urr" or something like that.  I'm going to give the new album another go, expecting to still think Andromeda is the best thing on it.

Very disappointed they didn't show in some form this year, I was really hoping for them to take The Killers' slot.  That would have been ace.

I've been relistening for what seems like a couple of hours now and have only just hit Hallelujah Money.  Tempted to fuck it off and put on Demon Days followed by Plastic Beach.

Hallelujah Money is fucking terrible.

Whole album is a massive step down from what came before it IMO.

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
