Sanchez's is correct as you always use a possessive apostrophe with a proper name as in "Who is Kate Moss's boyfriend this week?"

I'm guessing it feels weird with Gorillaz's as Gorillaz is just a stylised spelling of the plural Gorillas which would obviously be Gorillas'.

So it should really be Gorillaz's then?

I think if you are a stickler for rules then yes but the rules are there to provide clarity and in this case neither stands out as being correct so I would say either would be acceptable.

I actually quite liked this on first listen yesterday. Ascension is massive, and I think We Got the Power is great. Jenny Beth's contribution in inspired imo.

Obviously it's no Demon Days, but there are plenty of good tunes on there. Love the Grace Jones one too, and Saturn Barz or whatever it's called has grown on me.

What's the story with signing up to this presale?

Says you need to buy the album but then says '*no purchase necessary. UK dates only' when you go through to the page?

EDIT: Pretty clear actually. Means everyone attending UK dates needs to buy presumably.

You just click thru where it says *No purchase necessary on the site and sign up don't you?

Pretty sure you actually need to buy it.

You only have to just sign up for the European dates but for the UK ones think a purchase is required.

Saying that, I bought it 10 mins ago and am yet to receive a presale code anywhere as far as I can see.

Yeah but the asterisk for the no purchase necessary is on the UK dates bit. I think the European presale and UK presale codes will be the same as they have the same signup pages. I'm pretty sure it's not legal to force people to buy something for the presale which is why they always have a workaround. But it's good to support the artist anyway, of course.

Fair enough!

Not bought a physical copy of an album in ages anyway so it'll be good to get my hands on one. Liking the album too.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
