Hotchilidog
Looking forward to this. Importantly for Liam the new stuff seems pretty good and let's face it the Oasis tunes will bring the metaphorical house down. Would have been ace on the JP but I think The Other will better accomodate those who want to see him.

Rubber Soldier
Delighted he's been confirmed now. He was absolutely brilliant at the Barrowlands last night. Rock n Roll Star - Morning Glory - Wall of Glass as the opening trio. D'You Know What I Mean and Slide Away in the middle, and finished with Be Here Now, feat. a special guest appearance from Bonehead! Liam sounds great, the band are tight, and the new songs sounded really good.

Mardy
Liam fucking Gallagher. About as relevant in 2017 as Noddy Holder.

I'm feeling better about going, but Liam Gallagher is dreadful in any booking, any year (except for a couple of months in 94). And you know I love you all and will get the beers in at the festival (I've known about LG playing the other for a bit, but the idea that people still find him of any interest absolutely baffles me)

I stand by that Vaccines second album. Course, if they're still living off it 23 years later, I might have a different view
CaledonianGonzo
In a hypothetical situation where Noddy Holder rejoins Slade and they do something like headline the Avalon Stage then I'll be on the barrier.
FuzzyDunlop
I'll be at Katy Perry. Though I suspect her crowd has now gone from massive - to big. Liam will get a good 30,000/40,000 I'd say on the other

Oasis certainly didn't 'bring the house down' when they headlined in 2004 or when that Beady Eye nonsence band played the other stage, so I wouldn't get your hopes up. Fair point, the potential for disappointment is indeed there. That said LG seems reinvigorated at the moment. The admission that he needed help in the songwriting dept was a sign of rare humility and that he is taking his career seriously at the moment. If he is terrible I'll ambe along to something else, if it goes well though, could be a real highlight.

Squeeze (Acoustic) start 15 mins before LG finishes. Can't even run to Acoustic to catch the end of their set cos it's miles away. Thought I'd got away with any Saturday clashes Edited June 12, 2017 by Stokesy10
Deaf Nobby Burton
Got the green light from the wife to watch him, she wanted to see K Pez, but has now said she'd actually prefer to see Liam! No doubt she's bought something or is planning to buy something expenisve, or has dented the car.

eastynh
I was praying for Liam and chic not to clash, my prayers have been answered. I am going to have to get some practice in where by I swagger down the road with the arms behind my back. Gonna have to tune up my Liam accent as well.
