2019 is conjecture on the headline writer's part, based on the fact that Longleat was pencilled in for 2019.  They probably didn't realise that the next fallow had been recently confirmed as 2018

seems a bit too long sighted to be talking 2023 though

My take on it is the only thing that's changed is that they have found a viable site for the fallow year fest Emily has mentioned. 2019 talk is just the journalist putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 I think.

The fallow year fest seems to be a better alternative than no festival at all as it allows them to employ the team through the fallow year.

Given that, maybe they will delay the fallow year to 2019 now they have an alternative site that could be ready by then. 2023 does seem too far in advance.

2019 doesn't make sense, with Michael talking about it being for one year in five, for the fallow year - unless they've moved the fallow year back to 2019.

Exactly, got to be some misquoting or something going on. No way will they have a fallow year followed by the event at another location.

This is annoying. I'm getting married Glastonbury weekend in 2018 on the basis it's the fallow year. We were even thinking of booking the Bimble Inn. They better not have moved it!

It's so frustrating that in this age of click bait, all news sources, including the BBC, are stating that the festival is moving. When in fact it's not. There is going to be an additional festival when it's not usually on. But that's not a great headline.
