Well if that's true I did not know that. He is a founding member so always assumed he was performing with them whenever they played live together.

He's signed to the label but I don't think he's part of the BBK band/act itself and very much has always had his own career outside of BBK (which until recently was going much better than the rest of them), but if BBK are at Glastonbury I'd fully expect him to show up as well, even just for a song or two.

Watched for the first time on the Croissant Neuf Bandstand on the Wednesday in 2015 having heard all about him on here beforehand, It was absolutely brilliant. A MUST see!

Unfortunately having headed back there last year to see them again it became apparent he'd become a victim to the getting on site fiasco and I didn't get to see him at all.

Will definitely be there this year (6pm on the Wednesday at a guess) & bloody hoping he will be too

I wouldn't say that he's become too popular as it's deserved, but the days of just wandering in to see him are long gone and you need to arrive early.

That's generally true for the Wednesday + Thursday shows.

But (for example) go and see him about 6pm on the Summer House on Saturday afternoon there'll be no problem getting a seat.

Noticed you just put Alt-J on Other Saturday, above BBK...

Changing your mind on the above statement, Neil?

they were listed anyway as an SR for other, and the only day they can play is the Saturday, and the info for them is Other. It's merely reflecting the rumour.

It doesn't feel right to me, but that's not proof that it isn't.

I stumbled upon him at The Spike on Sunday last year and there was plenty of room :)

Clash between Foos and Alt-J? Eurgh.

Highly probable this year. My headliners are looking at best to be radiohead Jackson flaming lips.

Two of which I'll enjoy but wouldn't be anywhere near a must see.

They hopefully will be mine, with 2 very much "must sees".

I haven't had a must see headliner on any stage since Arcade Fire. Ive loved a lot of what Ive seen since, but beforehand they were not must sees. This year, Im chuffed Radiohead change that... hopefully the lips make it two.

Wouldn't bother me that much if they did. And I actually think they will.  Lip up fatty boy would win hands down. But with no info on park acoustic jp and west Holts Sunday at mo them being separate is the slightly favourable option.

Why?

That's a fair point actually. I didn't see her last year and I have visions of me kicking myself in 20 years time. She's destined to become as big a female solo artist as anyone from the past 50 years I reckon

It may well wind up being the only big festival show she ever does.

Traditional Glastonbury Friday efestivals clash nightmare.

Yeah but whilst there are usually loads of acts us on here would want to see they're usually not acts with a huge crossover in fanbase. Like, Portishead vs Chic was an eFests nightmare but they're not similar acts at all, same with Underworld vs Sigur Rós. Radiohead vs Flaming Lips would just be dumb.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
