A few days ago you were telling us your positioning of the Pyramid subs and Other headliners was definitely correct and it's already been proven wrong. Most people read from left to right. On all lineup posters displayed like Glastonbury's the acts tend to decrease in size from top left to bottom right. The headliners have already been confirmed and their days have been announced; it'd look stupid and be confusing to not display them in that order. After those 3 acts I imagine the acts appear in the order of prominence Glasto wanted to display them. The National may end up playing lower than Katy Perry but they're in a higher position than her on the poster.

Eg. On this poster, the second line on each day is clearly in descending order.

That Saturday Pyramid is one of the weirdest run of acts I've ever seen at a festival. Its perfect.

But yeah,I don't think this is too unrealistic. Good job FF. You've kept the RH, Jacksons, Justice headliners alive at least. The clashes are still pretty tough for me - specifically Perry/National v Phoenix/LG v Toots/Avalanches.

@FloorFiller I'm reversing my idea of Van playing, taking that Madness idea of last year 4th down on Other Saturday and going with yours, not that I hadn't mentioned 3rd down Friday or Saturday but KP in the 'novelty' slot. They'll get 7 acts in that stage but KP I think will do the 75 mins set ala Robert Plant that hour of Madness and Burt.

Worth pointing out if no one else has already the poster has a WH sub (Solange) a line higher up than that stage's headliner that night (Jacksons) so I think order/line positioning isn't the be all and end all we're making it out to be

Indeed, also pretty sure the festival tries to ensure it has quite a few female acts listed high up to come across as promoting diversity, much in the same way that a lot of the West Holts line up is featured near the top to show the diverse range of genres.

Beyond the top 3 (arguably 4) lines having guaranteed featured positions on the line up it's a bit of a free for all, it's the same story every year.

Yeah I don't particularly feel the positionings mean much, but if they've grouped the Other headliners together in the correct running order further down, I reckon its a reasonable assumption they've done the same with the subs higher up.

I'm definitely wanting to move around more than Pyramid and Other - since that's all I did last year - but that Friday is a winner for me. Barely any clashes to drive me up the wall.

Saturday, conversely, puts the clashfactor up to 11. And I'm still missing that Sunday night closer that I really want (if Sheeran impresses me enough later this month, I might return to him. May even go to BBK, even though it's not my scene.

Just wish stage splits would come sooner rather than later...

That Friday, I see Liam being where The Lips are and them doing JP myself. Future Island probably subbing JP.

Saturday, Katy Perry and Liam the only clash, I could leave KC are on for Frank Carter would in all seriousness I'm not that arsed.

Sunday, Rag N Bone Man/The Coral and Chic/RTJ being the clashes....that one I can't see anyway.

Guess I would too. Future Islands I will be ticking off at the end of the month so missing them is nothing too serious - and having seen the Manics, I might just swap them out for Stormzy anyway. The Friday is pretty darn good - Lorde is the only one that rankles I guess in terms of absence.
