I've always had a wanting for Radiohead to play with a string section and a choir too for certain songs, I doubt it'll ever happen unfortunately, maybe as a one off in some big studio somewhere

I was listening to AMSP last night for the first time in a while. Does anyone actually prefer this album version of true love waits to the live versions they used to do? like the one on I might be wrong for example?

I note no-ones predictions ever has true love waits in. But a few years ago everyone would have been gagging for it. AMSP has killed the love for true love waits I reckon

I think TLW has dropped out of peoples predictions as it's very clearly about Thom's now dead ex girlfriend. The album version was sad when it was clearly added to the album because of their breakup - after her death it took on a whole other level of sad. I don't need that much realness at a gig.

Also, as somebody who was never that arsed about the original version I much prefer the AMSP one.

5 tracks from Kid A...now THAT'S the dream.

Definitely, although if they have to drop one, I sure hope it's EIIRP. Been a set staple since it's release and it was nice to see it being left out in some of their recent gigs - there are like 7 songs on that album I'd prefer to see live over it.

One things for sure. No matter what the play, they really do have an excellent back catalogue. It's going to be quite a night.

I'd definitely be in favour of dropping that. It's a great song but it's been played to death IMO. More interesting choices out there for sure.

I notice that people aren't predicting My Iron Lung. Do they not play that live nowadays? I love that song!

It's one of their most played songs. They've played it a fair bit on their most recent tour so I reckon there's a good chance.

I think most of us aren't predicting it because we saw them play it last year, and we're wanting them to mix it up a bit. I certainly wouldn't be pissed off if they played it, but I'd rather something different from The Bends.

I'd still like to hear (nice dream) get an outing if we're going for Bends album tracks.

The Bends or Sulk from The Bends please.

A video of Planet Telex posted not long back sounded so good, mind.

Also Fake Plastic Trees at Glasto would be amazing.

Give us Fake Plastic Trees and The Bends at Glasto and then Planet Telex and Sulk in Manchester.

I've tended to skip True Love Waits on my recent run-throughs of A Moon Shaped Pool. It's great song and worked wonderfully before Everything In Its Right Place, but just hearing that piano intro ... :( I'd be a mess if I heard it live tbh.

Street Spirit (Fade Out), Fake Plastic Trees and Just from The Bends at Glastonbury please. Planet Telex would be sweet too, but not ahead of those three.

    • First forecasts claim that though it gets cooler on the weekend (33C-ish), heatwave will be back by Monday. They expect at least 37-38C for next week, they don't know if it goes up to 40 degrees or not. Going to be tough.
    • Already notified me last night. There is always the chance from the waiting list but from my experience, I either win the ballot or miss out. I have never been offered tickets from a wait list for Blue Lights. Had them a few times from Concert For Carers. Hopefully, others on here will have better luck.   We're sorry, but unfortunately, your name has not been selected for All Points East - Deftones (Outbreak) - Sunday 23rd August 2026 at Victoria Park, London on 23 Aug 2026 at 1:30 pm on this occasion. We'll add you to the waiting list, and we’ll be in touch if tickets become available.
    • Agreed. She was in self-promotion mode. Something big could be anything to an artist who already knows what's planned. People have just applied Glastonbury to it, even though the artist might not have been thinking about Glastonbury at all.  She never hinted at it being Glastonbury in any way shape or form.
    • The Pyramid is long overdue a rethink. It looks archaic in this day and age
    • With a good undercard and sensible pricing it might be doable. Took a long time for the Sunday at Tramlines to sell out though. Hopefully now they'd have some good footage from this year's shows to help with the promo.
