Queuing on the A37

Advice from the festival is to take your scheduled coach.

They do normally go a different route - but who knows at the minute.

I'm on the currently on the coach from London too. Coaches do take a different route, but only when closer to the festival. I'm assuming it's going to bad either way. The bus from London should take the A303 route, then up into Pilton.

The route to PGA is different from B/D or the campervan car parks. The only worry I'd have is the state of the coach park, but I imagine they've allowed for that.

You'll also hit traffic just before Stone Henge. Road works going on there I think. Down to one lane

To update people from the inside, we got into queue heading northbound on a37 in a campervan at 17.15 ish last night and parked up at around midnight. Once we got on to pylle lane the traffic flow was much more steady but with bigger vans getting stuck in the mud in fields, there were delays as stewards diverted us on to fresh bits of grass. Wasn't overly boggy last night but it had rained for a few hours now so I'd expect areas of water/mud.

We are here on the Glasgow coach, have moved about 200 yards in 30 mins, there's cars in front and behind us, so unsure whether they're sending buses a different route yet

Any one know what route the train transfer buses take to get to gate a coachpark? Are they likely to hit the traffic coming from the east or? Hopefully they have local drivers who know a few backroads

Moving along now on A361, still stop/start but it's better than not moving at all, probably moved a couple of miles since 5:20am.

we've moved 0.1 miles in 2 hours coming from the west. 5.8 to go. I'm gonna still be here tomorrow afternoon

Is the west just as bad? We are on a37, not sure if it's a better idea to turn around and come round the other way?

In the queue going up from the A303 to the east side of the site. Started queuing at about half six. Moved just over a mile in an hour and a half. Google tells me we're still quite a way out. 

I'm driving, but my brother has fallen asleep in the passenger seat, leaving me a little bored! 

Every time we move we go a significant chunk. No idea how exactly they're managing the traffic but must be relatively tricky with it coming from both directions. 

Anyone coming from the north know if they're directing all cars from North into purple? Leaving blue for cars from South and camper vans?
