My friend lost her ticket and didn't realise she didn't have it until we were about to set off to go to the festival... we just said print out confirmations etc to show the gate/box office. She wasn't allowed in, we walked all around the festival for hours to ask numerous staff about getting her in and no luck. We arrived at 4am and she finally got in (unofficially) after a steward heard her sob story and kindly snuck her in at 11pm. A very long day and horrible at the time but a good story to tell!

This didn't work for us in 2013 but always worth a try if it is the last resort.

They won't let you in without a ticket. In 2013, my friend lost her ticket and showed her print out confirmations, bank statement and all that jazz to the people at the box office & each of the gates but they were firm they wouldn't let her in. Hope you get it sorted! I would probably keep on at Royal Mail and if your mate sees their postie maybe they should ask if they remember delivering a Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm letter on the day it was 'signed' and where?

Never wearing wellies again after 2016. My wellies were getting sucked off my feet in the clay mud which sent me flying into the ground a few times. One of those times was just after Adele had finished and I almost got trampled to death... meanwhile my mates were walking through fine with Dr Marten boots. That's what I'm going for this year!

I've always taken a suitcase/trolley thing and a small backpack - similar to this one. I've never had any issues with the wheels (even in 2016 weather) but the bottom of the suitcase does get a bit ruined. I didn't have a trolley in those years though so it's probably safer to put everything on a heavy duty trolley!
