Queuing on the A37

Currently sat not moving on the a37 about 11 miles from site. Expected to be parked up and in gate b queue by now. Is this a tail back to the delayed campervan access?? Anyone else??

On a37 now anout 2 miles from site, still at a stand still haven't moved for about 20 mins

All due to late opening of campervan field and also an accident a few hours ago didn't help.

it does sound like it's all about the campervans, it'll hopefully get moving as their numbers dwindle

Moved about 0.5 miles in 4 hours, I would suggest leaving as late as possible its all fucked here

No idea if it will clear but looking at the map and live sat nav updates its queuing off all the routes

A37 at Shepton mallet. Sat stationary for most of the last 4 hours.

Been queuing on the A361 and A37 since 5pm, just got our first view of the site. Still got a mile and half to camper van fields.

It took us 6 hours from Lyndon on fosse to get here. We're now pitched and we've eaten. So tired, very upset and fed up. Hopefully a good nights sleep will fix it all up!

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Bang on 7 hrs in the queue and I'm finally off  The A37 and on Pylle lane.

I know one thing that would have helped the queue, not sending all the cars down the same little lane as the camper vans.

Here's a thought if you are going to delay the campervans by 6 hrs you need to do the same with the cars, #notrocketscience.

Do let us know when you hit the camper van site (& which one you end up in). I'd be interested to see if the time on the lane has dropped. I could have cried earlier today on that lane!

One of the reasons people started heading there so early was because of mahoosive traffic jams think in 2009.

damn i miss that. would casually rock up wednesday morning to a field with a few hundred cars and every time people i knew, then into an empty site for a day of total peace - now just chaos!
