I sense this will fuck things up massively for the festival sale unless they run multiple nights at each venue.

Each will sell out quickly and those that put 2 and 2 together will try for G tickets as a fall back in the hope the Roses are nailed on.

Hope so and hope I'm wrong but thinking the distance and logistics rule it out.  If London on 24th I'd be more positive.

They can fly from Glasgow to London in an hour so that's not an issue. Can't imagine they'd have too much gear to transport.

As an aside I'm bloody fuming. Couldn't go to the Manchester show last year because it fell on the weekend of my brother in law's 30th. This year the Wembley date is on my sister's 30th!

Booked a hotel for the London date, Said never again after the Etihad, but there is no way on earth the crowd can be as bad in London.

I'm going to go for Glasto as I'm not bothered enough about the new stuff I have heard for Wembley but to tick them off at Glasto.

lol I was just saying William Hill are clearly dickheads for not lowering the price and then that happens.

Glad I got a few quid on at 4/1 thanks to whoever posted the link

The delay was because the main traders are all away home and it's just night traders who trade a magnitude of things, so wouldn't be looking at it too specifically

But I didn't tell you that :)

I suspected a shift change - a lot of them sorta things change over at 7pm.

Im not moaning, I got 4's so I am happy enough.

Do you work for Hills then? I used to work for Coral back in the day but I love a punt now and again, mainly nags but sometimes do the G market if we feel on here we have good info :P

I'm going to Glasgow over Wembley. Atmosphere will be 100% better.

Think I'll try for a Glasgow ticket in case I don't get a The Glastonbury ticket this year. Would be a decent plan B and it should be easy enough to shift if I do get a ticket for the farm.

    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
