I'll be honest and I hope I don't get a lot of heat for this, but I'd prefer to see someone like Stormzy headline over Kendrick. I know it's the tradition for the past few years to have a grime / rap artist headline, I'd much prefer Stormzy over Kendrick...

Why do people keep thinking CHVRCHES would have moved down from subbing a coheadliner (where they played in 2016) to NME headliner? Surely they will have increased their worth otherwise why would R&L book them again...

They’re not gonna put on a bog standard lineup for the 50th, they don’t have to go crazy on the payments, they’re just gonna intend to book bands that are in some way special to the festival.

Why would they have a bigger budget? People always say this stuff for anniversaries of festivals and they always come out with lineups that are no different to usual. People were saying it about IOW this year and it's no different to usual.
