FuzzyDunlop
Raspberry Beret really is a perfect pop tune. Catchy, great story telling lyrics and you instsntly know what it is. Had it on repeat a few times earlier. I knew I loved it, but forgot how much.

bamber
Can't quite believe he's gone still. I'm not alone in thinking that Prince was very poor at self moderation. Most of the early albums contained dud tracks and the later albums contained mostly duds, howlers some of them. But the output was so prolific and the diamonds were such diamonds we can all surely forgive him for that. and that said, everyone will have three different choices in this thread, one man's dud is another's diamond. For Me:- Sign of the times Money Don't Matter 2 Night (and most especially) If I was your girlfriend...
bamber
My favorite quote about Prince this week was from Eric Clapton. When asked what it felt like to be the worlds greatest guitarist, he said *I don't know, ask Prince"

Some discussion here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk%3ARory_Gallagher#The_Hendrix_quote Anyway, from where I'm sitting, Prince is right up there as one of the great guitarists.
