  1. I'm not going next year, need the holidays in work for other things mainly. I'm debating just doing a year on year off now though going forward, think I'll appreciate the festival more that way
  2. Foos, Blur & Madonna, I haven't been following the rumours though Can't see DM drawing that much of a crowd nowadays at glasto, for a pyramid headliner anyway, though they are good live, would depend on weaker headliners on other stages I guess
  3. 3 of us stayed in a 4 Man Bunkpad/Pigeon Coop at Sticklinch this year, I think 4 adult's woukd struggle to be comfortable in there but it was ok with 3. Top bunks could do with lowering 2 inches though for a better sleep. Sticklinch itself was alright, got there 10:30ish Wednesday, was at our tent within 25 minutes of parking up. Thought security on the entrance gates was abit over the top at first, think they had been told to be extra cautious. No searches on firat entrance, but 2nd entrance they where searching most people, 1 guard also tried to say I had too much alcohol, also seen a fella arguing about being abke to bring a bicycle in. The facilities where pretty average, could do with 1 more bank of compost loos, normal loos where good and well managed but annoying when they where broken Friday. Shower situation was crap tbf, I only got a shower Thursday & Saturday as couldnt be bothered waiting 45 mins to an hour. I'd rather they doubled the number of showers and charged £2 a go, there not going to increase them without cost going back to users, so this would hopefully half the waiting time. Food offering looked pretty basic, much better and less ques in the festival. We always stayed in Oxylers previously, so the walk back each night was a killer.
  4. Not if they only done it when you paid off your balance. Couldn't be done on the initial ticket sales, as you say, just overly complicates things. The resale aswell, would just have to be full tickets. Did find Wednesday & Thursday to be alot quiter than 2022 this year, the Stone Circle was dead Wednesday night, normally packed.
  5. 😂they mean a Wednesday entry & Thursday entry ticket. Something the festival may look at, at one point I guess. When paying your balance extra £20 for Wednesday, £10 for Thursday. Likely too much hassle at the gates though
  6. Doubt she'll be invited back for a long time after that shitshow, let down alot of her fans
  7. People standing in ques for the toilets, while 2-4 of the cubicles are empty🙃 People still bringing kids and their war chariots into Shangri-la, place is already massively crowded, don't need to battle with familys attempting to look like there not hating making the mistake of bringing their kids to Glasto, and causing crushes with there mini 4x4 trolleys, onoy place there where crushes for me this year. Shangri-las finished imo just not enjoyable. Thought this year was vastly improved over 2022, which was dangerously overcrowded at numerous times each day. Far better crowd control/management and possibly less attendees (last year I knew 12 people who bunked in pretty easily with security, this year none)
  8. No chance can't ban the flags and nutters who carry them all day😄, there a big part of Glastonbury culture tbf. Could ask people not to take them into the pit, or for them to be lowered before a set starts in the same way they ask people to stand up for more room, over the speakers etc When fields are busy
  9. Tbf Body Paint seems to go down really well at there recent gigs and one of the most sang along to, even on Friday.
  10. Thought they where brilliant tbf. Sculptures of Anything sounded amazing on the Pyramid speakers, wasn't expecting them to open with that, couldn't knock the set list. Glasto audiences do seem to want more audience interaction from acts, which they definitely could of done, especially the few times it took a short time to transition into the next song. Turner acting too cool for his own good really😄
  11. 😂 chill out mate festivals nearly here
  12. Saw them Friday and they where great. Even the new songs went down brilliantly. Do wish the Glastonbury set was 10-15 minutes longer to fit some more songs in, hopefully they run over slightly. They will probably engage the audience more at Glasto, where in Manchester there was little if any of that, so that cuts down playing slightly aswell
  13. We go every year always end up in somehow, sometimes 2 nights, go early during/before a headliner if you want to beat the ques. If your just going to have a look at the venue its not really worth queing up, but have been to some amazing raves in there over the years, try and work out if the people playing when your planning on going will be to your taste. I think they utilised the space better last year with improved seating to the left instead of wasted space that has been there some years, still think the main dancefloor could be expanded a little bit increasing capacity slightly. On the flip side have never set foot in the rabbit hole, so will be braving the ques for there this year

Would probably aim for camping in Dairy field this year if we weren't in Sticklinch, have been in Oxylers for years, but last year seemed extra busy there.
  15. Would say last year was definitely the most ethnically diverse crowd I've seen at Glastonbury, but would agree probably less diverse than the average festival
