anything that is sorted and to be strategically announced is always more likely to come on a tuesday, weds or thurs just cos of the weekends. we go into the main part of the week with the hope of something to come at least.

Anything truly meaty will be next week in my opinion tho

although both Adele and Muse were announced late on a Friday weirdly so i guess they're less arsed about all that this year. i seem to recall some big announcements being made on Thursday nights in previous years as i've been in work and had to take a quick 'toilet break' to check on my phone so i'm going with next Thursday

Fair enough! Just had a text off someone linking me to it. Do they just guess the playing order then?

I imagine they looked at the clashfinder from last year and plugged this year's bands into it, guessing on the placements. It'll be more accurate when we get the stage breakdowns, but until then it's more or less a complete guess.

How many links to that bloody clash finder are we going to see between now and the announcement?

Probably plenty more as its updated every week or so, I realise the vast majority of people don't pay anywhere the attention the people of this forum do, but people must know it's nonsense

Whoever did it guessed, yes.  You could go into Clashfinder now and edit it.  I'm sure someone on here said they had stuck some bands on there the other day.

Almost all of the edits appear to have been done by @Acid_Haze, and AFAIK he doesn't have any more info than the rest of us on here - it's almost all guesswork.

I have just signed up to Twitter so that I can follow Glastonbury related stuff.

@TheGlastoThingy is the first account I've followed.  I feel a bit dirty to be honest, nothing against it, I've just managed happily without it so far, FB is enough social media for me.

I'm obviously just desperate for the next announcement.

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..
    • Anyone had email yet?
    • See him doing either wilderness or the forest live shows more
    • I always fancied going to this one - it had my sort of lineup. Shame.
