guy on Glasto Chat is claiming that the bassist from Toy has confirmed that they'll be playing again this year

also claiming Mark Archer and a 808 State DJ set

In comments on the same post chillmeister supreme Mixmaster Morris has confirmed himself - doesn't know where yet.

Teatime is what you southerners call dinnertime. It's nowt to do with cups of tea........

What? Isn't that northerners? I say dinner and tea and everyone else I know who does so is northern. The southerners and the weird northerners say lunch and dinner.

Mal Webb & Kylie Morrigan.

Mal used to be a regular at the Festival, and specialises in creating songs using unusual instruments and vocal techniques. A really interesting guy and worth seeing at least once.

Added to the playlist, he sounds great! Hopefully a Wednesday/Thursday afternoon session.

I confused Mark Archer for Richard Archer for a second there. Phew.

TOY is cool. Maybe down the hill onto the Park this time tho. Hope some more Heavenly Records artists are bobbling about again as well.

Few here:

Afro Brazilian Funk band - Dende & Band

Emerging British soul singer - Izzy Bizu

North London MC/poet - Shay D

I pray and hope for Izzy Bizu,
She was amazing last year!

It is dependent on several factors such as social class and dialect. Here's a dialect map of the regional distribution of the usage of words for 'evening meal' which demonstrates that there is a North/South divide although it is not entirely clear-cut.

Nice to see the University which had major roles in splitting the atom, breaking the enigma code and discovering graphene is spending it's time on more valuable studies these days.

I find it disgusting that I grew up 5 minutes away from some cretin who calls it "dinnertime"

Yeah and I was part of this groundbreaking study, at least I can share it on a festival forum now. #finallymadeit

Sorry If I offfended you at all, I was just being a bit of a dick. It's a conversation that's come up a lot since being in Uni so it's cool to see an actual study on it

Not at all! I was aware that it wasn't meant seriously, everyone talks like that at Uni ;) it was part of a 10 credit BA module so it wasn't groundbreaking & the Uni still invests enough into 'proper' research. It led to great discussions though, people can argue for hours what they call bread or the evening meal (as it's apparent from many forum thread discussions here) so this maps clarifies stuff a bit.
