And just like that we're back..

Thing is, shangri-la always looked the next strongest option after a pyramid slot. We know Thom and shangri-la are already cosy, and now we have shangri-la suggesting they've gone a bit better on their secret guests this year too.

I'm not feeling it's hugely likely, but it's not impossible.

Emily did say ages ago that they the traditional secret sets were going to be gone this year and that they were moving more to late night performances in the far flung areas of the festival

So we figured out the long gap Friday night on Hell Stage was already being filled by Dub Pistols?

Any of the names on the list look suspiciously fictional? Any areas of Shangri La which might possibly host Radiohead finishing earlier than usual? I can't see any possible room...

Shy FX's Party on The Moon fill the gap on Friday.

Have you heard anything about Tame Impala? Were they always down for that slot do you know? It has the feeling of a late-ish replacement to me. Can't see why they would be kept off the first poster.

If they 'replaced' anyone its waaaaay more likely to be D'Angelo given he was in the Saturday sub position on that poster (as much as I hate the 'position on posters' thing :p)

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if it was £425.  If I recall there was a significant jump about 10 years ago and with the prices of gigs significantly inflating in the last couple of years I can see another big jump coming.
    • I think they are just sold out ..... I find it highly unlikely that the entire arena wouldn't go on sale for a band the size of muse straight away.   Theres also some in those blocks on sale on resale sites
    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
