This can't be the moment surely? I refuse to believe Michael confirmed it 20 days ago and we've been sat here drawing Pyramids on jpegs in Paint.

It was time well spent and no one can tell me any different

Josie - off of here - just made a great point on Twiiter that it looks like he let slip then realised they weren't on his poster / bit of paper.

I'd take that. Be interested to get Neil's opinion on this tomorrow @eFests

I can confirm that I did indeed say that!

Not so sure he confirms anything or that changes anything. He mentions Foals/Disclosure/Skepta from the lineup as three new artists and I think he has Radiohead on the back of the paper, noted down as also coming from Oxford.

The bit about they've played but should get another crack at it suggests he wants them to headline again though, so perhaps in line for 2017 if they aren't appearing properly this year?

This is hilarious.

How the fuck did we of all communities miss that?

Whether it means anything or not, our forensic skills / obsessiveness is severely impaired.

Maybe Michael - the wily old coot - has been anonymously emailing Neil!!!

I don't know why he'd mention a load of bands that are playing, and then Radiohead. I know Michael is Michael, so anything is possible, but I still find it very bizarre :P

Well he reads Foals on the front, turns his paper over where he has some notes about them and mentions Oxford which leads him to Radohead.

Having met him I know he can definitely let things slip in the moment - but he surely wouldn't have written down a top secret Radiohead rumour to read out would he?

I feel the same, it doesn't seem to me as if he was going on a tangent since he specifically mentioned the lineup and took the paper out of his pocket. It could also be that he's just a massive fanboy and takes every chance to talk about them.

Has anyone had a go at enhancing the back of the bit of paper, looks like there might be something there but who knows what!

I dunno man. Jury is still out for me. I don't think by any means this is 100% confirmation, but I'm not convinced he's just reeling off Oxford bands.

Yeah, agreed. He could easily just be going off the Oxford connection- especially with the 'other crack at it' remark.

    • It's the photo that keeps on giving;
    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.
