Radiohead touring in 2016

Today's setlist was off the charts. The performance was better - multiple songs like EEIRP, Bodysnatchers, Idioteque were better tonight. I was one row back from the rail. 

Thom's voice sounded absolutely fine to me - but I always think those who listen to recordings often focus on that side of things more than the people actually there. Even if Thom's voice suffers there's so much else in the mix - can guarantee you won't be stressing about this at the Roundhouse. 

Towards the end of Daydreamers he DEFINITELY quietly sang "half of my life" presumably for Jonny to reverse. I caught this at the time and apparently according to someone on atease watching the periscope recording it's apparent. 

Talk Show Host sounded massive, but alas you won't be hearing that again for a while I'd think - though other rarities I'm sure! 

All I Need was probably the only older song which wasn't up to scratch. DID out of the newer ones needs to be dropped. Others sound good to great.

Yeah it's just about plausible (but risky) if the venue is right by the tube station, but iirc Roundhouse is quite a walk from it.

was about to correct you and say they didn't play Bodysnatchers, but clearly the bit about them playing Exit Music was wrong and it was Bodysnatchers instead, which would be grand by me - love Bodysnatchers. so envious of tonights set. even without Weird Fishes, Reckoner and Paranoid Android, it's just incredible. hope to have a similarly fantastic one at the Roundhouse

I half think the stream quality was making him sound worse. Although he did sound superb on Give up the Ghost even on a shitty stream.

And yeah, no idea what Desert Island Disk is doing in these setlists.

You're wrong mate Roundhouse is literally opposite Chalk Farm station on the Northern Line

I'm a big fan of KOL (and still rate it my least favourite Radiohead album), but separator is a cracking tune. Looks like it's gonna be an orchestral affair folks. I might be more excited for this than I am Glastonbury itself!

It's a radiohead concocted conspiracy jparx. For all we know, this could be Johnny signed up with a phantom account throwing us off the scent. Everything adds up. Only radiohead could keep things under wraps like this.

Must disagree jparx. Desert Island Disk is radiohead at their most diverse. I love that they've still got this in them.

Very doable, even if gig doesn't finish until 11 on the dot. (It'll prob finish 10:50)

*over cautious estimates* 10 minute from end of gig to get on train at chalk farm, 5 minutes to Euston, 7 minute change at Euston. 8 minutes to Victoria on Victoria line, 15 minutes from getting off at victoria to getting on Bus. 45 minutes absolute max, could do that in 30 on a good day with a jog on.

(I used to commute from chalk farm to Victoria)

was thinking of a cab but just didn't want to get stuck in an after gig traffic jam. Anyway, I'll stop going off topic now and back to keeping the radiohead pyramid dream alive, even if it is looking slightly less likely!

You need to factor in time to actually get out of the Roundhouse.  If you're close to the front, then the bottleneck to get backdownstairs can add 10-15 mins so maybe head to the back around encore time.

I see the soundcheck last night included No Surprises. Hasn't been played since 2009, would love to hear it at Glastonbury!

I'm booked in a car park that closed at 11.30pm and is about 20 mins walk from the Roundhouse, so I'm desperate for them to finish at/by 11pm so that we miss nothing, but similarly that I don't end up needing a last minute hotel room overnight as my car is locked up until 7 am!
