5. True Love Waits

6. Burn The Witch

7. Ful Stop

8. Decks Dark

9. Glass Eyes

True Love Waits in the top five @jparx

I have no idea what my order is now but my top 5 are Burn the Witch, Decks Dark, Identikit, The Numbers and True Love Waits. Bottom 2 are Desert Island Disk and Tinker Tailor...

Right - gonna have to avoid this thread for the next week so I don't get any Roundhouse gig spoilers. The downside obviously being losing track of the Radiohead-Glastonbury rollercoaster.

Enjoy the gigs, those who are lucky enough to have tickets!

well goddamnit where have you been all this time we've been umming and ahhing over it happening for the past few months!? :P  christ i wonder who is on before her then...

Sorry, I only thought to ask a couple of days ago because I quite like Adele but didn't want to have to hang about during Radiohead if they were playing before her to get a good spot.

They're not exactly my favourite band and I reckoned I can watch Adele on the iplayer when I get home anyway. I might be being led up the garden path, of course, but I believe my mate who is, very definitely 'in the know' about such things.

They won't play a substantially different set for the festivals from their own gigs, I don't think.  If you look at the Coachella setlist from '12, it wasn't too dissimilar to what we got tonight.

I could live with that.

Well, at least it means they can play slots where they don't need space to assemble an orchestra.

I'm predicting (not based on that, just was anyway) they're simply gonna do another Park secret slot like the last two times, but this time it'll be really heavily stewarded and closed off during the band before or something.

Remember in 2013 when the Park closed early and loads of people were expecting a secret set from Atoms For Peace or a few other acts? The end of the final act on that stage was 21:45. The Park closed at 23:45 last year. Would be cool if it's like that again but with Radiohead on after rather than no one. In both years, the main stages closed in general at 23:15, so the gap wouldn't look any more suspect this year. Certainly not more than a random gap in the middle of the afternoon.

Would also give Radiohead a set in darkness and if LCD aren't Sunday provide a good headline option.

It's been suggested before, but aye, I think Identikit/Numbers/Present Tense is the best three run of songs they've ever done

I said that last week but I've since remembered Exit Music/Let Down/Karma Police.

Right,

One of my mates and I had a thing a few months ago about coming up with our top ten. Exit Music was his 2nd place, which I thought was mental. But I'm starting to think I might be missing something with it? Cause at the moment I think it's a bit like HTDC

The ending is amazing but as a whole song I wouldn't have it up there.

Going back to what someone said earlier about Thom's voice.... after watching the live footage of Burn the Witch I navigated through the "related videos" and happened upon a version of HTDC (possibly on Jools Holland?) around the time of release... I want that Thom back - sensational stuff.

Neil said a similar thing earlier. It's either true or people are trying to be thrown off the scent due to all the info leaks yesterday. Only time will tell.

Want info leaks did I miss? The only 2 new things I've heard this week is the glade and shangri las lineups

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
