Radiohead touring in 2016

I really liked that. I found it a very consistent album with a lovely haunting vibe running all the way through it.

Same feeling.  There are a few tracks that really caught me on first listen, a few that I'm sure I'll learn to appreciate later.  I'm looking forward to listening to it on decent speakers while off my nut.

I'm going to reserve comment on the record until having listened properly a few times.

However, I just want to say what a real pleasure, buzz and event it was listening to it on 6Music, eating tea in the garden with Mrs Ben and Children 2 and 3. Almost a 'you'll remember where you were when...' moment.

Like when Green Day did that secret set at Reading and headlined it next year, like Foals did also. Radiohead can do that, but with Glastonbury.

I think it'll be album in full this year (if that's a secret set or an announced set) then a mega headline set next year.

Can you imagine if they announce they're headlining next year whilst on stage performing this year? The scenes!

Half the reddit threads seem to end with speculation that this is their final album.

Whether they're just taking the finality of True Love Waits too far or not...  it can't be, can it?  

(And if it is, they must be playing Glastonbury, frankly).

I was hoping that they would announce glastonbury as part of the promotion for the release of the new album, but it's not happened yet- I guess if we don't hear anything on Monday it's unlikely it will be announced at all

I dunno - they're playing so many non-UK festivals, and with this brilliantly orchestrated release event, I just can't see them not being there in June - in just as un-heralded a model as they've done the album.

Just listening to Decks Dark for the first time since the 6Music broadcast - OMG it's brilliant.

Not entirely sure of my overall thought on the album just yet, gonna give it a few more listens! Daydreaming and Ful Stop are the highlights to me from the first listen.

Timing, I think.  If this album had come out at the start of the year, maybe.

Just giving the album a first full play through, Burn the Witch stands as a great album opener.

Still not bloody downloaded it yet. Had reset the link and having to wait till that comes through. Looking like I'll get it quicker on my friend the pirate site but it's not good being as I paid for the special edition

Could you imagine if they don't get announced and Adele has an extended TBC as her sub.  Then just as the act is scheduled to appear, the strings from Burn The Witch kick in with an extended intro, before Phil joins in for a couple of extra bars, then Thom starts the song proper.  

Can you imagine it?

Then we're treated to career highlights set, with a few choice cuts from the new record.

This is far too early to judge any record, let alone Abingdon's finest.

But I know I felt nothing like this after the first time I heard King of Limbs.

I can't believe that the Eavii have missed the boat on this. Radiohead simply have to be there in some capacity. 

As mental as it sounds (and this is absolutely not suggesting Adele isn't big enough to headline outright), but what if Radiohead actually are announced as co-headliners? There is destined to be some massive twist this year,  I can feel it!

After a second listen just rating the tracks from my favourite to least still brilliant tracks though. It'll almost certainly change here and there throughout subsequent listens but the top tracks just caught me first time around.
