Ahh Radiohead seen them three times in the past but would adore to see them again, last time was 2009 I think at Reading.

Strangely the best time I've seen them was at V Festival back in 2007 I think it was, like a proper casual fan greatest hits sets with all the big songs played just at the right moment.

I'm quite keen to hear this new album and possibly see them at my first festival away from English shores, I'm looking at you Primavera or Portugal.

Ahhhh. The Radiohead greatest hits set at V.

That was fucking glorious.

And I saw it with the Wofflings. Fantastic day.

Anyone heard of a music producer called kidnap kid

Radiohead at Glastonbury 2016.
You heard it here first.

He's my old flatmate's best friend, got guestlist to a whp he was playing due to it. I'm not in contact with him (I've never actually met the guy) or ex flatmate though :(.

He's from Sheffield like, not sure if he still lives there.

Edit: found his facebook profile. I feel like too much of a creep to message him and ask about Radiohead, somebody else want to?

Please do. You could even make a Radiohead - Creep reference to break the ice? You will be taking one for them team, Sir!

I thought headline sized acts tend to announce their own shows first, and then the festivals once they've shifted a load of their own tickets.  Seems they've done it a strange way round, or does that not happen as often as I imagine it does.

Either way I have a renewed hope they'll be there, but my optimism is at around 25%

Given that their own shows probably aren't going to be in the summertime, festival shows won't effect ticket sales as much, not that that would be a problem with Radiohead, so there's no need to announce them early

Apparently they're touring America in July so that means a no for Latitude or T in the park. They could do Bestival but i doubt it. They could also do IoW but isn't that the same weekend as Primavera this year? Plus i just don't think they'll be doing R&L, they did it quite recently (for their standards) back in 09. So which big festivals does that leave?

John Giddings has said they're not at IOW. Assuming the thing about them being in America in July is true, that only leaves Glasto, Bestival and BST. I don't see them at BST for some reason.

There's nothing to say they couldn't be at 2 of these festivals.

The Who did BST and Glasto last year, the chemical brothers did bestival and Glasto last year.

    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
    • Seems like the most obvious choice. Surprised they havent played since 2019 either.
    • My review of All Together Now 26, it was a whopper. https://niallmcquaid.wordpress.com/2026/08/06/all-together-now-2026-festival-review/
    • Yep it was on my list, id have loved to have gone.
    • Am a relative amateur in the ticket/tech shenanigans and not part of a large group etc. but personally preferred the F5 bashing approach and got through twice in recent yrs (plenty when didn't, mind) - 2023 but it crashed on me at the final hurdle and then again in 2024 where I held my nerve when it crashed again and managed to get.  Think now I am committed to volunteering if doing festivals as that's close to my heart, so happy to help others when the time comes round.   The most impressive I've seen was bus sales in 2022 when 2 mates casually bagged tickets while in San Sebastian, on a phone inside the stadium during a Real Sociedad v Man Utd game!
