Underworld have confirmed Friday on their website. 

I reckon they'll probably be in a tent, but yeah I guess WH is a potential for them.

Underworld are down for Friday on their website so they're still possible. Not sure if they're more suited to JP though.

Am I getting it wrong thinking Underworld are more suitable for West Holts? Headlining John Peel seems the popular theory and, while that's reasonable, I don't see why it's being promoted ahead of WH.

Nope. Again, they're a better fit for the Holts than Sigur Ros.

But then....Leftfield played the Sonic tent and I'd  put them on about the same footing.

It would seem likely, aye. No guarantees, but the fusion element of the band definitely points in the Holts direction.

yeah i'm fully in the they'll be headlining West Holts boat, but then as i'm so strongly for Sigur Ros playing Saturday AND playing West Holts, Underworld doing West Holts on the Friday just works out incredibly well for me

also think Underworld are a bit of a step above Leftfield. they have an actual front man, and i'd bet that far more people are familiar with Born Slippy than anything of Leftfields (plus didn't Leftfield play an almost entirely new album centric set? which Underworld certainly won't do)

Ah, I wondered when this would happen. I know most of the time it's easy to get close enough, but I've also been in a situation there where it was rammed and I couldn't see the stage, so screens would've been most welcome!

Cool deal on the screens. I like stages without screens since it feels a bit more intimate, but practically speaking a stage as big as West Holts will benefit from it. The shorties will be rejoicing at this news!

when park stage gets screens thats when we know we have a problem...

Can see both sides of this but lean more towards thumbs up. Common complaint among the smaller members (no pun intended) of our group is the lack of screens which ultimately impacts their enjoyment somewhat.
