I know I'm asking a lot, sine Glastonbury is objectively terrible when it comes to hip-hop/RnB.

Is it? Seems to me there's a lot more there than most UK festivals (Excluding specialist ones of course). Seems better represented than some genres

Don't think thats asking too much....just want a ticket though.

Glastonbury's supposed to cover all genres, though, but only seems to have one or two token hip-hop/R&B acts at the higher ends of the lineup. As you say, it has more than most major festivals, but it's probably still under-represented compared to other genres (namely rock/indie, of course).

Without being too unrealistic, these are a few of the bigger names I would like to see play. Haven't bothered choosing any newer bands who do the festival regularly.

The Stone Roses

Blur

The Prodigy

New Order

The Cure

Noel Gallagher

The Strokes

James

Faithless

Pet Shop Boys
Dave Byrne
Eels
Cake
Kendrick Lamar
James Murphy
Future Islands
The Strokes
Faithless
Air
Phoenix
Kate Bush
Dandy Warhols

I would be more than happy with none of these and a guaranteed ticket though

Seeing New Order and Faithless cropping up a lot. Last I heard Hooky and Sumner weren't on speaking terms and Faithless had stopped playing live. Have I missed something there? In which case add them both to my list!

New Order tour without Peter Hook don't they? They're touring in November anyway and have a new album coming out. Faithless played a few festivals this summer but I'm not sure if they're doing anything beyond that.
