I started a thread on this yesterday but Ben Howard's pulled out of Rock Werchter tonight so maybe he's pulled out and everyone else has been bumped with The Strypes slotted in early on.

I suspect you're correct but no news about pulling out of Glastonbury on his twitter yet.

Dunno if it's the right place to post this or how true it is, but I'll chuck it out there.

On my way down I stopped at my friend's on Tuesday... Her mum said that someone's daughter she works with is going to the festival because her dad is playing with Supergrass... I think she must have meant Gaz Coombes, but she was adamant that it was Supergrass playing.

Dunno if anyone has any info to back this up or if it was confusion with Gaz, but there you go.

Danny Goffey's new band are also playing. It won't be Supergrass though.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned - Libertines are due to play the Ahmad Tea Festival in Moscow on Sat. Unless they have some sort of private air transport, with the flight time and time difference to Russia they'd be unlikely to be able to do both.

It has, but you're right - it makes them pretty unlikely.

That settles that then. Thought it could have been them from the start but everyone was going on about their show in Russia so I quickly let go of that idea. Should have stuck to my instinct
