William Onyeabor would be amazing, don't think he could pull it off on the pyramid, he's isn't that fantastic, man

He's also a recluse  who has renounced his music and not played live for about 30 years.

EDIT: I am mistaken, he has in fact never played live, by his own admission.

1 week away it has to be a band that is touring or has recently toured. No chance a band would go into such a massive gig after a long lay off (Which rules quite a few big name bands out instantly). Due to bands playing elsewhere / logistics several more bands can be ruled out.

Personally I think it is between Blur & Flo being bumped up. Libertines maybe an outside chance to, depends on what deals they have with other festivals they are playing later on this year.

If its any help I can play on guitar

The gambler - Kenny Rogers

Sit Down - James

You shook me all night long - AC/DC

The call - Regina Spektor

Amanda - Don Williams

Coat of Many colours - Dolly Parton

Don't like Mondays - Boomtown rats

Little Bitty tear - Burl Ives

Tell your mother - Johny Cash

Baa baa black sheep - unknown

For a nominal fee, a few beers and a night of lustful passion with Paloma Faith, then I'm up for it...

5th down at T last year

And your point is?

They were 5th at V about 7 years ago...

Simple fact is,

1, They are available.

2, They are rehearsed and ready.

3, They can easily fill a 2 1/2 hour slot.

Also as I've seen em once or twice on every tour since they returned I know they are more then capable of headlining given the chance.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
