I wouldn't apologise for snoring. It's not exactly like you mean to be noisey

Noisey sleepers hide your valuables well! (use the lock ups)

Ah that explains why we got robbed of our spare change, but we always use the lockupa so no real harm done.

Neighbours are neighbours. Last time we looked after a group of young girls, helped them put up their tent in a space far too small for it. Felt quite maternal towards them so couldn't get too annoyed by them at all.

Love it all - bad or good neighbours.

You lot have obviously never camped at T in the park then - if you want to camp in a field with 70,000 neds I would strongly recommend it :)

This year will be our first Glasto staying in the campsite ........last year, our first year at Glastonbury we had stayed outside of the site, but felt we missed out on so much fun we have decided to camp this year (with a few mates, we are all coming down from Aberdeen) - really looking forward to it.....and yes I snore:)

My mate - no word of a lie - sounds exactly like a seal when he laughs. He has no interest going to Glastonbury, but if he did go he'd definitely piss people off lol.

More on topic, when I get back from Glastonbury I always fear I've pissed off my camp neighbours, I am one of those people who has the tendency to repeat the same joke over and over just because someone laughed the first time.... Last year it was quoting The Wire and randomly singing one line of Pulp, Do you remember the first time over and over. I'm weird when i'm inebriated,

Last year my neighbours had a Christmas party with decorations, secret santa and all the shit. That was really weird.

They weren't really annoying apart from the days they decided to have all night long parties. What's the point on going to glasto if you're gonna have a "house party" every night? plus good part of them spent the entire day drinking in front of their tent.

I felt safe at least.

It was an immense group and they said they've been to Glastonbury for the last 10 years or so and its the only time of the year they get to see each other. Not my way to enjoy the festival with friends i barely see, but it's a quite nice story to be honest

Brilliant idea the Christmas thing. See my current sig.

Damn that's brilliant.

Fuck the Winter Solstice. Summer's where it's at.

Where are you camping Christmas people? (But celebrations away from the campsites so we don't become annoying. It's bedtime if you're there).

Seriously though Stupot have you been at the glue?

I hear what you are saying. I think. I haven't got a clue what the answer is, but just know it's not this. I don't just mean here in this country, I mean everywhere. I also know that I'm one of the slackest bastards on the planet when it comes to putting my money where my mouth is.

I'm more than interested in an alternative, but want to know what that is and how it would work globally. I'd easily drop any inheritence at my own cost to vote for such a system. The fact is, it would appear, that letting a few bell ends rule over the majority has been going on for quite some time now. In my opinion it stems from greed, and there ain't one of us who's never been not guilty of that.

Love Ya ___S_o_m_a__ :)

Littlest things

This, late at night would certainly annoy most punters. Not me.

Never had any issues with neighbours until last year. We all had worries about the noise coming from the relocated Arcadia Spider and the whoosh off the burners. Well that was nothing compared to the snoring the guy in the tent next to us was making. Even had people walking past on the path 10m away commenting.

We had people who stole our chairs out of our porches..with drinks still in the holders everytime we left camp...

They were from l*******l to say the least and we kept having to ask for our chairs back..which to them seemed to inconvenient them massively

Not really relevant where theyre from now, is it?

I was camped by some posh kids in 2009, who left the place in a shit tip, about as close to troublesome neighbours as I've had.

In '99 a pissed up bloke collapsed onto our tent in the night, then swearily managed to destroy his, snapping tent poles while he was trying to put it up and had a drunken argument with his missus. I thought this wasn't going to go well. In the morning he apologised for any annoyance he may have caused, provided us with drinks and a smoke and kept an eye out when miscreants tried to get in while we were away. Fantastic neighbour who was brilliantly friendly all weekend and an encouragement to keep coming back.

I've had neighbours who had the potential to be annoying (like saying there was no decent cheap food & Googling the nearest Burger King) but I try to get chatting to neighbours & it really helps with not being bothered about it

Googling the nearest Burger King. I've heard it all now! Plus burger king isn't decent or cheap..

I don't spend that much time at my tent really, only in the mornings do I see people, but I like to be chatty, introduce myself and that.we had a nice couple by us last year, and some young girls who were really friendly.

I get weirdly worked up about people snoring  Like I'm already worrying now if fate shoves me by a group of loud snorers. Probably because I'm such a light sleeper but there's something so infuriating by the noise of snoring. Would rather listen to someone's happy hardcore cd pumping out of their stereo all night than a snorer.

totally with you on this one. The bass from across the site doesn't bother me but a snorer will.

Reading this were still miles fairer than most of the world, although most systems are insanely religious or very traditional. There isn't a better solution.

Had a massive group of 20-odd Geordies behind us last year, at least 4 of which would be drinking in their gazebo bit at any one time - mid afternoon, breakfast, 4am, whenever - which was cool for security, but jeez I can't understand that accent at the best of times: it's incomprehensible in the middle of the night when I'm dying for a piss. I understood about one word in three, and I had a beer with em a couple of times. I used the classic tactic of smiling and laughing.

Friendly lot though, I was very happy to have em as neighbours!

My hubbies snoring probably annoys our neighbours. Sorry in advance.

My dad used to do festivals with me up until 2009 as part of my friends from my local, his snoring is so loud we used to joke he was either hoovering his tent clean every morning or that he had a pet elephant in his tent with him

I'm excited to go to Glastonbury as im expecting older ages away from the GCSE results day kids that go to Reading festival. although in 2014 a guy camped near to us and sat down for a chat, his arms where all shot up probably from heroin. Later that year i saw a picture of him on the VICE website about UK festivals.

here he is...

With nudity in mind... I'm a naturist and camp nude at the festival. I camp in Bushy Ground now but have camped all over the site over the years. No ones ever complained and are always friendly but I'm just wondering, is my nudin up actually annoying!?!
