johnjarvis
For years I've always wondered what is the ultimate Glasto access-all-areas pass?! Artists can get access to the specific stages they're performing on...but every year I go it seems 'Production' passes/wristbands get to go anywhere. Surely there is an 'Eavis' pass/wristband for his friends and family? Someone also mentioned to me about a 'Site-wide' wristband their friend once had who was working there... Does anyone know?! carllucey
Me and my group have Arcadia & Silver Hayes backstage bar passes this year.
jonnyisRFC
I was a volunteer in the SE corner last year, my wristband has "site wide" written on it. Should've probably tried to access some cool places with it, maybe this year.
Rose-Colored Boy
Think my Oxfam supervisor said he could get in anywhere last year by virtue of being it. He was stood just off stage whilst Kaiser Chiefs were on the JP at any rate.
JBarbour
Stage organisers get AMA passes, Glasto big wigs get BAA passes, AAA are rare and I'm not sure they really exist for Glastonbury? Each area has a different coloured band for staff
kalifire
Who'd need an AAA pass?! Any time I'd spend backstage mingling with clean bodied, champagne drinking folk all standing around feeling pleased with themselves is time I could be spending in front of something much more amazing, publicly available and surrounded by the great unwashed not giving a shit and having the best time ever. I know where I'd rather be.
giantkatestacks
The highest level doesn't need a wristband at all - have you seen Michael with one?

AAA's do exist - but there's very few of them.
The Placid Casual
Working for Oxfam last year we managed to get into Silver Hayes backstage after talking with some friendly security staff for a bit. The bar was quite nice and we had a fairly decent hour or so in there.
JoeyT
I've got a pass for backstage (if you could call it that) at the T&C field this year. My mate loved the green room bar which is apparently there last year and has managed to get some more passes for this year. Might have a look to see what it's like but as others say nout compares to the actual festival!
Space Shanty
I got backstage one year, maybe 2007, with a girl who worked for a newspaper in Manchester or somewhere. Apart from briefly seeing two of the lads from Dirty Sanchez, it was bollocks... devoid of all the hubbub and buzz you get from being in a proper area of the festival
Wanderlei
I thought an all-access pass was a large pair of breasts. I've been having a takeaway every day for the past year to get some!
kaisherz
Anyone got any idea how a regular Joe can get hold of a Hospitality Camping ticket? I know they're like £420 odd - But are they available to regular people?
eFestivals
Anyone got any idea how a regular Joe can get hold of a Hospitality Camping ticket? I know they're like £420 odd - But are they available to regular people? why would anyone want one, that's the real question. It's a pass that gets you to where the festival isn't happening. But no, they're not available to buy by any tom dick or harry. I tried to buy one last year for a mate without a ticket and got told I couldn't. If you know someone in an organisation who buy loads of these tickets - such as record companies - they it's quite usual for them to have more than they need and they sell off the spares. stocky3000
12 of us got into the backstage of the park last year off 1 person with the hospitality wrist band Had a couple of pints with metronomy but it was so lifeless if the truth be told we left out of boredom. glasto-worker
Stage organisers get AMA passes, Glasto big wigs get BAA passes, AAA are rare and I'm not sure they really exist for Glastonbury? Each area has a different coloured band for staff In fact there was two versions of the AAA pass last year - one was area specific { which did sound strange but there is threads on it somewhere - I know it excluded the Pyramid backstage compound and guest camping } but this one in the image { the guy in the blue shirt } was a full AAA pass - he was working for a large tent rental company and was asked to take photos of the tents set up - I have had them before { many years ago } when they were a laminate pass - it should have had ' on stage ' struck off but there was screw up and ended up with the full works. They are not like a normal back stage pass { or guest pass } - in theory they can get anywhere although I doubt if they work in certain crew areas who have their own Security and will be expecting a Photo ID Pass. Sawdusty surfer
Had various passes over the years including the BBC compound/garden behind the Pyramid Stage. All rather dull, the real festival is MUCH better. SL and Arcadia crew passes are worth getting (dead easy if crew, just ask at the crew bars before the festival starts. They happily give them to crew from all areas) as the crew bars can be quite entertaining. Edited May 14, 2015 by Sawdusty Surfer
paulo999
I was on site wide a few years back. It's a generic one used for a variety of roles, gives access to alot of areas, but not things like stages. There is/was a SE Corner Superpass... Was very rare when I discovered it. Seemed it was just SE corner area organisers, who need to liaise, so makes sense. Year before last I needed to do a quick job at the other stage and got Pyramid and Other Production, whilst the XX were on. I think the band is fairly rare by Glasto standards. There was nobody milling around at all. They don't want entourages and the like clogging up a critical working area. I wonder how many different wristbands there are now? Must be loaaaads

frostypaw
I wonder how many different wristbands there are now? Must be loaaaads I remember going up to the farm in '07 with an armful of wristbands which spangled the guy completely. Even after I showed him which one was relevant here he still had to check his huge a2 poster of different wristbands that were valid for different areasCan only have gotten worse! chronicideas
I had hospitality last year and when I was eating breakfast in the interstage restaurant and I saw some suited up BBC executive with a AAA pass round his neck, next thing I know he walked straight to the pyramid stage where all the winnebago's were. verrymerry
The only pass I want is the one that lets you down the path between the Pyramid and Other Stage, that's a brilliant short cut!
paulo999
really dont get the appeal....as others have said why would you want to separate yourself from the festival espcially at glasto with so much to see or do.....youd trade all that just to be able to mingle with a bunch of celebs and their hangers on? Private bar=boring bar haha For interstage, yeah. Away from those types, the crew bars serve a purpose. When you're tired after work, they are a more chilled place to wind down. But if I wasn't working, I'm not sure I'd use them much / at all. Decor can be really nice, with sofas and stuff, but they don't have that "we're all going for it" atmosphere of anything front of house, and people don't socialise so much with randoms like they do out in the real festival. musky
The highest level doesn't need a wristband at all - have you seen Michael with one? I did read that he was pulled up by a naive security guy for having no wristband. Apparently a crowd quickly formed telling him the error of his ways! I wonder if Michael tried using the words "My face is my pass."?
