Looking at the 2019 webcam it actually looks like they're in exactly the same position. However, the spider set up probably allows for a bit more crowd space?

That's just the perspective of the cam view. The spider is as far from those tents behind it as it is from each Arc bar

It seems that they've decided that the JPT line-up will be sans-T and just outdoor freeform performances this year. No other possible explanation for it.
