silage is eaten by cows not spread

the Farm tend to pump cow muck from Steanbow and spray it or use a splash plate.  A chain flail spreader tends to be used for manure (lumpy shite and bedding etc) that can't be pumped.  They tend to dump that in the G car park and move the pile around a bit at intervals.

It looks like an irrigation system to spread slurry or more likely some dirty water - the water  is pumped through a pipeline from some distance away. If they have underground slurry pits they may have been flooded and they're just taking the top off.

It's definitely not fertiliser or herbicide- these need to be applied with a much greater degree of accuracy from a specialist sprayer or spreader.

    • This. I always read in awe the hatred toward the festival and Gerendai.  I see no chance of it being cancelled, except if something worse happens, like the whole electric grid collapses or something. But that’s not really a case. Worst case scenario is that the whole thing will be ran by diesel generators for the sake of the environment.
    • they are shutting down the nuclear power plant until Friday ; sziget starts 3 days later plus, they said they will have to import energy.    So I see no point in cancelling an event that will make them lose money
    • Finally a sensible suggestion for the legends slot
    • Definitely up for this next year. Would rule Megadeth out for Download though
    • My fellow Hungarians always find a reason why Sziget should be cancelled every single years Now it’s at least a bit valid but I would say it’s highly unlikely.
