And we're back to people being horribly misogynist about someone they have never met. Lovely. Just lovely.

No we are not. Dont let your Kanye fetish lead to making bollocks statements

wow! A typo is now indicative of racism??!!

Shame on you.

And no he isn't a musical genius, he's just a cock. Even if his music was in anyway passable, which it isn't, he would still be a massive bell end. However that's what's good about Glastonbury, his booking was inspired.

I like Kanye simply because he consistantly makes great albums, its funny how many dismiss him as a bellend based solely on his public persona.

Obviously It's difficult to know what he's really like but 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Impressions tend to point to him actually being a bellend.

Doesn't mean he can't be talented, maybe just a talented bellend.

I've always thought of him as more socially clumbsy than malicious though, I'd rather that then some artists who want to be best friends with everyone.

Yeah, this is it, he's never obnoxious or offensive, he's just massively unselfaware. Which understandably upsets people when pop stars are outlandish and flamboyant, whoever's going to start going a bit off the wall next? The local vicar? Our entertainers must be solid, sombre, dependable, and respectable.

I always do that.

The difference is that when Kanye does it, the YouTube videos are called "Kanye West visits Nando's", but all those times you did it, the videos were called "drunken man climbs on the table in Nando's, sings three lines of Total Eclipse Of The Heart, strips off, slips on hummus". And they were used as evidence against you.

Haha, oh dear. 10 down votes for saying someone is talking bollocks. 7 downvotes for saying something nasty about Kim Kardashian.

And yet theres pages of vitriol directed at Adele, even a comment calling her anxiety and panic attacks a completely calculated move - and none get down voted, or accused of misogyny! Wow, love the level of integrity there. Good to know that saying someone accusing you of misogyny being bollocks is ten downvotes more offensive than mocking someones mental state.

And Kanye West is a bellend. As for him not being a dick to fans, maybe run that one by the disabled fans he singled out in the middle of his shows when they wouldnt (couldnt) stand when he ordered them to.

Whilst I'm neither condoning, nor defending Kanye here, I'm pretty sure that he wasn't aware that he was in a wheelchair. Just another example of his staggering lack of awareness at times.

I think he's a bit of a dick to be honest, but musically he's fucking ace, and has been consistently for over a decade.

And stop crying about your downvotes you big wet lettuce!

But I just want to be loved!!!

I know Kanye wouldnt have initially known they were disabled, but to single a couple of people out at a concert and stop everything until one of them even had to wave their prosthetic leg at him...  he may not be malicious, but fuck me hes a bellend at times!

    • People seem to have got obsessed about 'secret sets' at all festivals this year even when there aren't any spaces other than, in EOTR's case, the usual late Folly sets that 90%+ of the time are from artists who are already playing.
    • To be fair @Superscally barely mentions the running thing. Very quiet about it 😘
    • I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either
    • Selfish, but I've done the 2 days I'm there.. i'll try to do the rest through the day but might get beaten to it as it's editable....    https://clashfinder.com/s/ape2026/
    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
