That came from someone at William Morris who was clearly wrong. Neil if I can email you i'll tell you the details of my source re this year. I'm not trying to troll anyone here I'm a member of this forum trying to share information that I am sure is right. I will explain why I'm sure to Neil if I can

I still struggle to belive any so called `source` would risk there position whatever it is by leaking such tightly held info, thats why I view all these rumours with suspicion.

The problem with this is that if it wasn't for these so called 'sources' this site wouldn't be a thing. We come here to discuss the festival and we get artists via Neil and other posters based of these sources. So you kinda need to take all the TBC's with a pinch of salt.

My source is connected to those two acts specifically. I know nothing about the rest of the line up and don't claim to.

Thanks, tho i've no idea how there's any cross-connection of those two acts so that someone might say that. Care to say?

My own RH source is also connected to RH, and has a 100% record of accuracy (including previous RH stuff). Despite that, I don't rule out the possibility of it being wrong.

I also have peeps who've seen detailed stage listings, and I know that RH don't appear on the lists they've seen (tho how up-to-date or complete those lists they've seen are, I've no idea).

I'm not saying you're wrong; you might well be right. The point is that I don't feel able to rule out what I've heard given where it's come from and the history of that source.

Perhaps you might tell me something via which I can put my own RH source to bed. Feel free to PM me or email me ([email protected]) anything you don't want to say publicly.

where do you think I get all my own info from?

There's too many people involved with the whole process for none of it to leak out. The difficulty from where I'm sat is sorting the wheat from the chaff.

something still doesnt fit for me and the adele rumours....I mean its more then just a rumour its pretty much become the `expected` last headliner not just on this forum but all over the web.....you go on any glasto site or fanpage or forum and there talking about adele as a certainty......

You know ordinarily, I'd be right with you. But the Stone Roses rumour mill that came to nothing has taught me that a tiny spark can cause a serious forest fire on the internet in no time, and not necessarily with any validity.

Does a snadwich take longer to eat than a sandwich?

it's of better quality. :P

It's going to be a big fat naan wrap of tandoori chicken and spicy honeyed parsnips - that's so frigging big (the biggest you've ever seen) it'll take me the best part of an hour to eat, and all for about 4 quid. I just love living where I do. :D

and you haven't kidnapped and beaten these people until they reveal the stage listings why!?

Yeah, what actually is the point of withholding the Adele announcement, when every man and his dog is talking about her being there? There'll be no surprise(s) factor, as someone else said.

Radiohead it is then!

That settles it! It's destined to happen.

In Scotland we refer to a "big fat naan wrap of tandoori chicken and spicy honeyed parsnips" as a "big fat naan wrap of tandoori chicken and spicy honeyed parsnips, jimmy"

Is it made with the 'ootsiders' of the naan?

I tried to find a pattern around posters and Easter.

Guess what? There isn't one.

Easter was a good thought, but you've failed to consider the phases of the moon, and the fact that it is a leap year. I've done this and something is emerging....  No wait. It's not.

nope.

I've wondered a lot whether it might be RH in that slot or not as there seems to be no ideas for it, tho snippets I've heard from people who would probably know suggests they're not playing there (tho I can't take those as definite all the same).

Given Thom's liking for DJing in the naughty corner along with the worries they'd be of crowd issues with most secret sets, my next best guess is something like a 4am slot for RH to play live on one of the stages there ... but that's just a wild guess based on minimal other realistic options.

Neil, please stop! You really can't let me get my hopes up for that.

    • My wife works for a music company, they have an allocation already.  They run a ballot for it early next year.
    • This is my guess too.    2028 festival breaks the £400 barrier.
    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
