Like when the guardian print the little booklets or the programme getting released and stuff. All it takes then is someone to snap photo on their phone and tweet it.

If we don't get an actual leak we'l definitely get a fake leak I reckon.

I don't quite get it, I'm pretty sure glastonburys got a good scoop of all the best acts touring this summer.

Lot of truth in that statement there actually, if you actually look at acts touring/doing Festivals, you couldn't get much better I don't think. Sure you can have crazy wish lists but if an act isn't touring/doing festivals what can a booker do?

Saying that I'd be pleased with the way the lineup has gone this year, most years. Real nice mix of acts I think personally!

Exactly, very hard to get everyone - since there's always contesting for the biggest and best slots. What I find brilliant about Glastonbury is they can get acts like Paolo Nutini subbing the other - when other festivals have to give him sub or nothing! Allows for Glastonbury to get more and more acts!

I think so far the act I wanted but isn't there and can't be is Modest Mouse, I was really hoping for them with still Sunday left until last week. Great new album, still hoping for Band Of Horses, it's maybe a long shot but it'd be a great shot! Given they are in Norway the week before R&L, that might just be a possibility. Not going to come over for just them two gigs surely. Either way, a nice space to play both, I'd rather Glasto as it's less reason to need to attend Leeds.

Is this certain? As almost all info you've had so far has been incorrect.

It's almost as if Neil doesn't actually know for certain...... Anyone would think he's simply running a well established forum and using any leads he has to give us nods and winks based on a 'best efforts' guess with a massive amount of uncertainty thrown in.

If you've got more accurate information to share then I'm sure he's all ears.

NME have just tweeted that Coldplay are the 'bookies favourite' to headline the Sunday. Almost laughable, specially after what transpired earlier this year. I know it means nothing, but where would they even get that trash from.

So today I heard a lot of "I like it.. But I was expecting something bigger"

I don't quite get it, I'm pretty sure glastonburys got a good scoop of all the best acts touring this summer. So it begs the question? What do they expect? Or is it more of a hype thing? They hear Glastonbury and expect massive and that means they are always underwhelmed?

So many questions

There's not a huge amount on there to my personal taste - so it depends on your taste, doesn't it? I'd say this first announcement is very "alternative" in the sense there is not a lot of mainstream acts down the card. Plenty of acts who are critically acclaimed etc, but not the type of band people in general have heard of.

That's not a criticism of the line up as it is as there's double still to come and I know there will be plenty for me. But I see that as the reason why some may be a bit underwhelmed.

Ignore the bookies man. If it was Coldplay it would be announced. They have nothing to hide with regards to ticket sales elsewhere this summer, and they're hardly a special guest anyway, they're never away from the place.

i think it's quite the contrary, way more mainstream. especially with well regarded rock'n'roll - we got the vaccines and maccabees, not exactly top knotch stuff to be honest. I think we have way more radio one kind of stuff this year than last..?

last year there was parquet courts, pixies, mogwai, interpol, robert plant, black keys, midlake, etc.... this year catfish and the bottlemen, peace, maccabees, vaccines. blah :(

That's two. Carry on. I could come up with a long, long list of the type of bands I'm talking about that are not on the list (so far).

And I'm not talking the Ben Howards of this world.

Alright calm down, I wasn't having a go or anything, just asking. Based on a few bits of info he'd had regarding other stuff i.e. Coldplay, man with a band etc..

I've not listened to them so have no fact based opinion, but I get the impression that I really won't like Catfish and The Bottlemen. I really should listen to them and form a real opinion I suppose.

That being said, there are loads of acts still to come so let's see where we end up come June.
