Know there are lots of announcements still to come but was hoping Everything Everything would be on the bill this year with a new album due

Lots of bands I've not seen though and looking forward to checking out

Martin, you never cease to amaze me. How anyone could like Motorhead AND Deadmaus is beyond me. More power to you!

I saw Deadmous in one ofvthe dance tents by accident some years ago. I love that big electro house stuff. I'd liked to have seen some classic US acts like Steely Dan and Santana on there but they probably come with a huge price tag. Still made up with The Moody Blues, Patti Smith and Azalea Banks.

really poor first announcement. glastonbury has the power to be a taste maker but i find year on year it panders ever more to the dull homogenised rubbish that the music execs and their pals over at radio 1 force feed the nation.

it looks like a v-festival lineup from about 5 years ago.

couldnt agree with you more.

my first thought was that it looked like a V Fest line up

I'm over the moon with what's been announced so far. I can already tell there's gonna be some nightmare clashes!

Delighted about Caribou, SFA, Jon Hopkins, FKA Twigs, Goat, Hot Chip, Flying Lotus and there's so much more to come as well.

Really hoping Chemical Brothers are on the Saturday though!

Be interested to see what days people are on, I've not done too bad with the clashes over the years but Blur/Chemical Brothers will definitely be the hardest decision I've made at Glastonbury, horrible clash

I'd be surprised if they didn't show up at some point, can't see why they wouldn't do it. Saw them last week and they were fun but not sure I'd be desperate to see them again.

Martin Ashford's musical taste makes everything seem worthwhile. Remember when we thought you couldn't possibly be real? We simply weren't ready.

But Prince/Chemical Brothers will be a no brainer so you'll be alright

Behave. Motorhead, The Fall, Patti Smith, The Mothership Returns, Belle & Sebastian, Spiritualized, Jamie XX, etc.

Yeah. That's V in a nutshell.
