Are you sorted?

Aye, sorted! Dragged my little brother out of bed and made him set there with a tablet, he was very relucatant. About 8 minutes past he grunts "It's changed" so I grabbed the bugger off him and started hammering in details. Still got the confirmation page up now even though emails have come through.

also i think around 1 in 7 returned tickets so from the circa 135k sold thats nearly 20k. only tiny portion being coach tickets. around 16k.

Is it really as high as 1 in 7 returned? If so then that really does surprise me.

I've known lots of people who have been over the years, and don't know a single person who has put their ticket back into the pot. More fool them anyway!!!

Despite using Firefox and chrome and F5ing one window it was IE which got through on normal refreshing on a slowish old laptop. Nothing on iPad. Managed to get tow tickets for one efester and again a window on IE when they sold out.

I'm sure car parking tickets can be ordered online or by phoning See. They don't sell out so lots of time to do this.

Also think we got some tickets on IE in April as well and on a Mac.

Got our 4, so happy! Personally I got nowhere near but we had about 10 people trying and one got them right at the last minute to rescue me from the brink of despair. Thanks to everyone on this forum for giving me the faith over the last week or so, and reminding me that this kind of Glasto spirit is what keeps me going back!

Trying for 3 friends - got to booking page - entered payment details - clicked pay then told one of the group had already been successful in getting a ticket so had to start over again without success !

I think there should be an option to edit that person out and proceed with the sale.

In future it may be better to make single applications to avoid this problem or ensure the network applies for the same group.

Hi we had the same issue but instead of trying again we deleted the ones that it said that for and left in the other one and proceeded and it worked ok. Just a heads up if you ever get that message again - don't start again just edit the page and proceed. Sorry it didn't work for you and hope you get theirs sorted in a secret re-sale

quick question , my friend managed to purchase a ticket without car parking and I managed to get the car parking , but dont want to pay the postage charge twice if possible , I presume its just a quick call to see to get them delivered together ? and get the second delivery charge refunded

I didn't post until now, just been reading, gaining ideas for getting tickets and gaining morale support.

Over the weekend our group of 4 all managed to get tickets, and this forum had a big part in it.

I'd like to thank you all for sharing and writing. This is a great support group for those trying to get tickets.

I know sorry, that's horrible of me and I don't really hope for it, just feeling quite gutted :(. Although my biblical mudbath years have actually been the most fun (apart from 2007!)

Ahh that's nice that you apologised. Getting tickets can be infuriating! But let's not all fall out over them :) Keep an eye on the secret resale threads here. They are a great help :)

Didn't even get close. Have already got my tickets but really wanted to help others on here. Had a moment of utter dejection when I got the sold out screen. But that was short lived when I came on here and saw that everyone I was trying for had been successful.

Sorry to those who missed out. Will help out if can in the secret resales.

Same as, got mine in Oct, but was trying for Lawn on here. Not a glimmer of the page! F5ing like a nut job. Phone, iPad, laptop! was delighted when he said he'd got them.

16, the lazy git, I know for a fact that at his age it's impossible to be in pain the morning after your Saturday night, 16 year olds are made of elastic.

    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.

    • Top 5 acts of the weekend for me: 1. The Cure 2. my bloody valentine  3. caroline 4. Father John Misty 5. Big Thief   Biggest disappointments: - Slowdive (the mixing/sound just wasn’t right, and that was about 20 rows from the front of the stage) - The xx (also too quiet and marred by talkers who had no interest in the music)    Positives from an organisational sense: - extra water point at Mordor this year - handing out ponchos before the rain and ear plugs before mbv    However…two of the water points had ran out on Saturday evening, which is completely unacceptable when you stop people from bringing in large bottles of water, and charge €4.50 at the bars for a 330ml can
