Purchased some chocolate from my local Oxfam. The nice old lady behind the counter said she'd had a bar purely to try the chocolate and would have given the ticket away if she'd won. I did tell her if she fancied another bar and did win I'd pay her handsomely for the ticket.

As much as I love the T&C fields as one of my favourite areas of the festival. I also feel that it needs a refresh for regular visitors. Some of the acts/artistes have been performing pretty much the exact same sets for years.

Me neither. Had a good run of getting tickets for a few years now. It had to end sometime ☹️

Somehow also managed to get tickets for Leeds. But yeah, what a disaster of a ticket sale.

If someone had taken a ball, jumpers for goalposts. They could have had a kick about.

Also watching The Lottery Winners. The hot air balloons that also went over during the festival must have had a great view.

I passed him in the T&C Field playing to about 10 people. Wondering if any performer ever plays to literally no-one?

We also did this. It worked fine all festival. Cancelling it once we returned home.

I made a couple of visits to Mavericks this year. I do like it, but the majority of the acts are the same every year.

Wore an AFC Richmond Away shirt on Friday which got me a few good comments.

Years ago we used to camp in Wookey Hole the night before and take the back roads that used to bring you out right opposite the car park entrance.

Remember seeing The Lancashire Hotpots headline on the day Ed Sheeran played earlier.

Saw Lottery Winners at the Brudenell for the first time last night. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Bizzare at times, never seen a lead singer paint a picture during a gig. They also got Jonny Bairstow up on stage to perform the role of Bez during a song.

Went to the Brudenell gig on Friday, which was very good.

I once had a chat with a guy sat next to me at the meeting point in Williams Green. He told me a story of how he was related to whoever the area was named after (William!?), and this person who had nearby land which the festival was held on had split it up into many shared plots of ownership so it covered all the family to be able to get free tickets to the festival. Don’t know how true it was or whether he was spinning me a tale.

He was one year announced to play The Glade before getting pulled as I believe there would have been a kids choir playing directly after him. I did tell him he'd probably more suited to playing the T&C Cabaret Field somewhere like late night at Mavericks.

Purchased a 200cm long airbed so my feet don't hang off the end. Just got to hope it will fit in my tent.

Not seen him, but do you think his appearance on Ted Lasso has increased his popularity?

Saw him for the first time this year at Bearded Theory having not known any of his music.

Hi. There's a 22 page thread below which spans the years which may be of some help.

We had the same. Then the page crashed. But they payment was taken from our accounts and we've had the confirmation email. From three laptops, three tablets and two phones we only saw the registration page once on a single laptop.

Got through to payment page. Payment button said "processing". Then the page crashed. Shortly after could see money had gone out of account. Then went back, tried again to see message "Tickets have already been purchased using this registration." Email has just come through!
